NBC Sports wonders if Garrett gets fired if we are one and done???? I knew we wouldn't get much respect but this is ridiculous. Espn doesn't have any stories on us? NFL com has very little on us? What is the deal? I don't really care but you would think there would be an article about our offense and Romo's season. I guess we are the most hated team in sports, especially by the media. In the early 90's we were headlines everywhere BEFORE we won anything. Not anymore........Got to win first I guess....

Oh please. We get more media attention than any team in the league. The idea that no one is talking about us is silly.

And we've had a nice season but we gotta win a postseason game or two before we get real respect. We made the playoffs so far. That's it.

It comes with the territory. We all know that this isn't your typical franchise.

Send me a like (calculation purposes only) if you couldn't care any less about credit and only the results on the field.

I don't...But, with our popularity, and hate, you would think someone would be stirring the pot.

Hey the young players, who might be naive enough to listen to the media's opinion on their chances, will thrive on each and every doubter on there. They'll step up and prove themselves!

The more experienced players don't listen to the media, so it doesn't matter that much.

I've read more stuff on Carolina than Dallas...lol

What a joke. I live in Charlotte. None of my friends even talked about the Panthers this season until they made the playoffs. Now they have all of this Bravado. Wishing for Dallas to lose so that they can play GB. They have to beat Arizona first! Carolina beat 4 sub 500 teams in December. Arizona is going to give Cam fits.

It is quieter though when JJ is doing some thing stupid. I like it.

I didn't take the article as disrespectful. I saw it as mindless rambling used to fill blog space.

Will a one-and-out lead to Jason Garrett’s ouster?

When the Cowboys’ season ends, coach Jason Garrett’s contract expires. What happens next remains to be seen.

Most assume that Garrett’s 12-win season will be enough to get him a new deal from owner Jerry Jones. But there’s a school of thought in some league circles that, if the Cowboys lose at home on Sunday against the Lions, Garrett could be gone.

I remember a USA Today article back in 92 written by some non-sports author. She said "I know the Dallas Cowboys and you are no Dallas Cowboys." She went on to ridicule the franchise for thinking it could achieve what it had under Landry. This was 15 years after their last Super Bowl win and they got no respect. Everyone was saying they're a couple of years away. Sort of like now. I'm not saying the Cowboys will win the Super Bowl like the 92 team, but I started a thread about parallels between the 92 and 14 teams. This is one of them, the reluctance to go ahead and admit that this is a pretty good team.

That Panthers/ Cards game could be a throwback from the mid 70s when the Vikes/ Rams would square off and the score would be: 14-9, 13-6, 9-7 etc.

Now, with me saying that....it'll probably be a 34-31 game.
