The lack of run game was evident yesterday when the offense was backed up against their own goal line. You need the run game on the road. Look at the Cowboys team when Murray was the RB and the early zeke years. Those teams were road warriors! Bring back Bill Callahan!

and the way this coach run scheme is, he probably would not be able to get in-thru holes like we see with Pollard

Our run game is terrible. A good run came helps especially on the road. We are TERRIBLE trying to run the ball. We have been terrible almost all season and we did nothing during the season to fix it. The coaching and Jerry Jones failed us. We relying on Dak and Ceedee lamb connection. Good teams stop or limit that and our offense suffers. Michael Gallup was another terrible waste of signing. Its like playing 10 vs 11 when he is out there. He gets zero separation. I would start Tolbert or Turpin over him and demote him. There is no way we can pay someone like him $13,850,000 next season. He brings nothing to our offense.

I can see us getting blown out by the 49ers again if we make it to them in the playoffs. Our offensive line is suspect, we can't run the ball, we struggle stopping physical teams from running the ball and our defense doesn't really make stops. It seems our defense is only good when it can create turnovers. If it doesn't create turnovers it's hard for the defense to actually force a punt.

.....just maybe a full examination of what works best for this team.......like execution, like scheme, like strengths......instead of the quick "go-to" move, initially.......someone's salary. I refuse to believe Gallup or anyone not on a rookie or lower contract can't be useful as a current member of this offense.

At this point I would even take Colombo again. But MM pissed him off. He wanted a meeting with MM to discuss maybe staying on in some roll but MM wanted his own people so instead of telling him that he just ignored him. Apparently Colombo had several loud and nasty things to say while cleaning out his desk and leaving the building. He went and worked with JG at giants and got fired for getting into a fight with another coach there.

I like him. He brought nasty back to the O-Line. Very power run scheme.. He let the players be aggressive instead of being reactive.

Run to set up the play action. Was our bread and butter for years. Now we are trying to be a passing team. And seem to only run to try to fool them. They aren’t fooled..
