I saw that play and couldn’t believe my eyes. He looked at him and then went back to doing nothing.
I would almost swear he was paid off or something. He looked and knew he was coming and turned and ran away like he was going to help block Tyler Smiths guy. He didn’t need help. We should have moved Tyler to LT and brought Bass in at LG..

Lol, he did. I thought he was trying to get Dak killed on purpose.

Just within the last week or so there was a thread titled "Make no mistake, the team will only go as far as Daks arm takes us."

Yeah,
that one and this one should have the same conclusion if they dont.
No run game, no success.

Give some carries to Leupke, nimble for his size at running back and breaks tackles—his speed is underated. In the Miami game it looks more like a bad hand off by Prescott than a fumble by Leupke.

This year is in the books....one " amazing" road playoff win against the NFC SOUTH pretender followed by a bludgeoning by the Niners

We've gained exactly zero since 2016.....
More like since 1996.

The Dallas Cowboys have ruled out DT Johnathan Hankins and RB Rico Dowdle for Saturday's game against the Detroit Lions with ankle injuries.
Starting left tackle Tyron Smith was upgraded to limited on Thursday's practice report and is listed as questionable.

The Cowboys will have to make some decisions at running back with Dowdle out and Malik Davis out of game-day elevations. To get Davis on the roster, they'll have to make a roster move with someone on the 53-man roster. Or they could just go with Deuce Vaughn and Hunter Luepke as the backups to Tony Pollard.

The run game won’t magically appear so the team will go as far as Dak takes them.

So glad we didn’t bring in another back at the trading deadline. Our rookie FB can handle it.

To be honest the reason we can’t seem to beat San Francisco is because we cannot run the ball. Zeke played in the two playoff loses.

Yeah, these are fans who just cant grasp the importance of an effective and consistent run game (many of whom had been pining away for Pollard last year LOL)

Their mantra is that the OL sucks

Will just say, last year per board it wasn’t the OL, it was Zeke had lost a step (he had) but it wasn’t all him by himself. Now things are different than when Emmit played but you are going to still need a run game somewhere along the lines in the PO even though it is a passing league.

The offensive line is bad. We need a legit o line and d line…
The OL definitely needs help. Tyron Smith is only a part time player due to his health issues and Steele has become undependable since he got his contract, sometimes he's OK and sometimes he's not. Dak gets pressured too quickly too often, especially from the right side, Terrance Steele. And DL? Well, we can't stop the run either.

..we just dont have personal to open holes.

TP and Rico, do they're best taking what is given.

They dont have 3 yd holes to run from.
We do have the personal to open holes. Last year at times they did a very good job of opening holes.

This year we have a new O line coach and blocking scheme. The new scheme is not working. Most of our runs are so dam basic. Very little motion or misdirection runs. Most are simple runs inside the tackle box.
The RB’s are not the problem. Neither is the O line. Get rid of the O line coach. Get a better running scheme!!!!!!!
