Can I just say that while we're blaming everyone else?

If they can run for one lousy first down on the last two drives we win.

They not only fail but put us in 3rd and 12s

Dallas needs a single, dominating running back, not a committee of "average joes" carrying the ball...

Plenty of teams have running backs by committee and can run when the defense is expecting it. We need an offensive line that can win their battles.

No they don't. It has been proven that you don't need a great running back. You need a great system. They need commitment to the running game that isn't predictable first down runs to the strong side. This running game needs diversity and logic. It needs more traps, counters and delays. It need to be willing to go weak side and expose an over committed defense.

What I saw today was Callahan saying, "Ok you want me to run it more. I will. Hmph." And what we got were predictable runs that were easily stopped.

This zone scheme is built for backside cuts and delays. We rarely run them and when we do it's generally at the worst possible time.

I heard it here we don't need a great back in our offense the way it's designed:oops:

The Oline was awful today. They've been regressing

We could have had leveon bell but we drafted some guy named Escobar instead .

Please draft seastrunk

Eddie Lacey (instead of Escobar) would have made this a much better team THIS YEAR.

I would say it's more play design. We kept running into into the blitzing side instead of trying to run away from it. Who designs a play where the OG pulls when the defense is blitzing leaving a huge hole for the LB

Personally, I think Seastrunk would be perfect, but I doubt he lasts until our pick in the second.

Our runningbacks ain't that great. But there not bad. Yet why were we still trying to run on 1st down when they played their safeties up on the line of scrimmage? When you have safeties up that close, and the run isn't working, why not go with a play action and throw it? I question the playcalling. We weren't getting anywhere running the ball yet we kept trying to run. How dumb is that? Running the ball isn't the problem. Is the playcalling and the philosophy on offense.

That dag on draw play two times in a row lol! Our play calling is laughable!

Running backs aren't that bad... It's the play calling.

Something seems off about the play calling, especially in regards to when and what type of running play they call.

Also, I don't know that they run the ball enough to need 3 RBs getting carries. RBs need to get into a rhythm running the ball, IMO.

I think the issue is when you have three flawed RBs getting carries you don't want to let any of them get enough carries to let all their flaws be exposed.

We have the worst RB's in the NFL PERIOD. Our running back scouts are the worst PERIOD.

Whoever the idiot was that pulled the trigger on the Escobar pic needs to be fired tomorrow.
