I'll post information from somebody who actually did some research

Your stats and examples are a nice read Shroo ...I'll give you credit for finding the time to past and copy some valid documented materials researched by someone else. Noted!

Now throw all that out the window because you can't calculate matchups in terms of easy schedules, etc. Because there's something to be said about your opinion and not someone else's.

You can't place the importance of winning against an easy opponent versus winning against a top rated team. Psychologically, teams play better and raise their Gamne up a notch when they are up against a top-rated team.

Retrospectively, teams that realize they are up against poor teams or teams considered easy, usually do not intend to apply as much efforts, have more often than not gotten surprised at the level of play from said teams, and have been upset from time-to-time.

Underdog teams play with the mentality ...What have we got to lose." While so-called top-notch teams play for the "W" and to avoid getting injuries from what might be considered a useless game.

In fact, winning against a so-called easy opponent could probably be seen as more important than otherwise. Would you view an easy win any less significant than a loss to a lesser opponent/poor team?

And as usual, you know what you can do with your "pie-in-the-sky" wishful thinking garbage too. Too bad if reality conflicts with your hopes and dreams.

How about we finally throw a fraud like you out of here instead? How your hypocritical trolling has gone on this long is beyond me but I clearly see you for what you are. Hopefully someone in a position of authority does too.

Again - sorry if reality conflicts with what you choose to see. I presented facts.

Twist logic any way you like if it makes you feel better, hardly makes any of it true. Unlike the facts I posted.

As you've made mine. I'd like a moderator to take a clear, unbiased look at this post - among others made by this individual and see him for the trouble-making muckraker that he truly is. He's not interested in any sort of "debate", but instead to "talk-up" and "pimp" his team on a rival board.

Enough with the charade, it's high time his membership was revoked.

Before you get on that revocation soap box ...consider this ...who started this thread, and who decided they wanted to join in the discussion by taking "facts" from an unkown source, and think that you've got all the answers.

I could be wrong, but somehow my thread had nothing to do with trouble-making, being a muckraker(???), or talking-up and pimping my team.

My Thread ...was going just fine until you showed up.

My "source" was an article by John Clayton - a guy who crunched his numbers and did his homework. Not by some guy trying to "talk-up" his team on a rival board. Unlike you, what I posted has a bit of credibility and substance.

Maybe when you're the only person posting in it! Becasue when you're confronted with the truth you can't handle it.

All of your threads are trouble-making. You simply try to hide behind some "Mr. Nice Guy" disguise looking for "dialogue" that has some people fooled. Only when you hear anything you don't like, your true colors come out.

Everything you post tries to poke holes or suggest "worries" for the Cowboys. It's not anything about dialogue or conversation, it's trying to build-up your team and knock down another.

Save if for the barren wasteland known as the Eagles board because none of the Cowboys fans want to see it here.

I've personally had enough of your nonsense and I think it's high-time a moderator got wise as well.

Forget it stasheroo...this is the same garbage that he posts year after year.

And, what has it gotten him? Absoutely nothing! Let him talk all he wants, let him spin, let him state what he needs to state, then move along...

This is a typical reaction of fans of losing teams. It's really just nothing else but mad drivel from a frustrated fan. Don't let him get to you, because even though he tries to "discuss" football, his intentions are seen and known by everyone that reads his posts...take it for what it is...trash.

Rather than "turn the other cheek" or ignore it, I'd like to see something done. I don't see why I or any other Cowboys fans should have to sift through the refuse of someone Eagle-promoting on our board.

Just as language and other offenses are strictly enforced, this nonsense should be as well....

Well, he really has done nothing wrong. And, everyone that knows him, knows that most of what he says is not right....

He's very tranparent, and anyone that he does not fool with his veiled posts, can clearly see what his real intentions are...

He's just frustrated...as most loser Eagle fans are. It's a typical reaction...nothing to get worried about, because if you really look at what he's trying to do (convince himself that all is honky-dory with the parakeets) it's actually pretty funny...

Yeah, this guy's been pretty much a joke for awhile now. His threads are always direct jabs at the Cowboys team, but in such a way he can deny it.

Be on the lookout for a P-T Thread titled, "Should A Starting Vet QB Continue Playing Even if He's Trying to Hide a Lingering Injury?" Then he'll deny he was referring to Bledsoe.

That don't make much sense...schedules are made of games, right? Clarify what you mean...

Well, little 5Star, sit in that chair over there and I'll try to explain this to you. If you are able to pay attention through this lesson I'll give you a biscuit as a reward. This is the way it is.

First off, schedules are made of games. You're on the right track so far, I see you paid attention in 1st grade last year.

OK, now comes the hard part. Some of the games on the schedule are hard, and some of them are easy. All things considered, each team has hard games and easy games on their schedule and everything tends to balance out.

If you're not following me, let me know. Maybe I can draw some pictures for you.

Well, that was a total waste of time! Let me recap what you said...

1. Schedules are made of games, right? Brilliant!

2. Some are hard, some are easy, right? Bravo!

3. Some teams have hard games and some games are easy, right? Wow!

You have such vast knowledge...where did you get it from?

You just made yourself look very foolish...

Hey, Cowboy fans, get a load of this vast knowledge!!

Good try, little 28 year old biscuit boy...

So you're saying a schedule with 11 easy games and five hard games is the same as a schedule with five easy games and 11 hard games?

Sorry, but there definitely are schedules that are more difficult than others, just as there are games that are more difficult.

SSShhhhhh! Don't start fretting 5Tears. I'll break It down for you in a different way.

If there are several schools in a District (Schools = Schedules; District = NFL)

Within each school there are multiple classes students can attend; some are difficult, some are easy classes (Classes=Games)

Hence, the schools aren't hard or easy, but the classes are.

BTW, no biscuits ...milk and cookies!;)

Good grief people let's break it down on something we can agree on. I will highlight the easier games in blue.

Philly Schedule:
Sun., Sept. 10 @ Houston 1 p.m. FOX W 24-10
Sun., Sept. 17 Giants 1 p.m. FOX
Sun., Sept. 24 @ 49ers 4:15 p.m. FOX*
Mon., Oct. 2 Green Bay 8:30 p.m. (6ABC)-ESPN*
Sun., Oct. 8 Dallas 4:15 p.m. FOX*
Sun., Oct. 15 @ New Orleans 1 p.m. FOX
Sun., Oct. 22 @ Tampa Bay 1 p.m. FOX
Sun., Oct. 29 Jacksonville 1 p.m. CBS
Sun., Nov. 5 BYE
Sun., Nov. 12 Washington 1 p.m. FOX
Sun., Nov. 19 Tennessee 1 p.m. CBS
Sun., Nov. 26 @ Indy 1 p.m. FOX
Mon., Dec. 4 Carolina 8:30 p.m. (6ABC)-ESPN*
Sun., Dec. 10 @ Washington 1 p.m. FOX
Sun., Dec. 17 @ Giants 1 p.m. FOX
Mon., Dec. 25 @ Dallas 5 p.m. NBC*
Sun., Dec. 31 Atlanta 1 p.m. FOX

The Eagles have an oppurtunity to start off good because they are playing 4 easier teams. They have 2 tough division games though. Giants, Cowboys, and Skins have tougher games initially but in the end it will even out. It will start to get hard on Philly Nov 26th. Philly does not have an easy schedule but a few easy games lumped together. In this day n age easy games are not always easy.

I think you're reading into TE77s post and not comprehending very well. Here's another way of looking at what he said ...

After reading the schedule you can only assume the level of difficulty, guess, predict, not know anything but hope that you have easy or difficult games withing that schedule.

However ...

After the game is played you Know for sure whether the game was easy of difficult.

Got it?
