I see the usual people saying relax we will be back. I do not see it that way. When you get beat early in the season the way the boys got beat today. Yes you can comeback. Your still establishing your identity. By this time I’m the season. You are who you are. Soft in the middle. The safeties are sub par, have been ever since Roy Williams. Talk about your running backs, talk about you MaZi’s another Wolverine bust. This team needs to draft an elite safety in round 1. This team was demolished. They got hit in the mouth and walked off the fields looking like chumps.
Same every year. Time to start shifting to draft. Season ends in 4 or 5 weeks.

We saw the same types of posts earlier in the season and they responded well so I don't know if this knee jerk reaction carries merit.. Lets see what they do come playoffs.

We need a GM that understands the importance of stopping the run. Also one that will build a team that can play mean and physical.
I mean Jerry and the coaching staff literally took a DT in the 1st Round this year. They just picked a guy who isn't very good lol. At least not yet.

Are they playing for the 28th pick every year?

Isn’t the Super Bowl the reason every player wakes up in the morning?
The Cowboys can go to the Super Bowl. It’s just not a death sentence or an embarrassment to lose in the 2nd round against the 49ers. See you were disappointed in 2016 when the Cowboys lost to Green Bay. The loss was heartbreaking but those kids played hard. One of the most enjoyable regular seasons in the last 27 years.

a lot oh good DTs struggled as rookies.
Definitely. That's why I said at least not yet. I'm holding out on Mazi. He seems to be slow getting off the snap though, which is not promising. It's pretty noticeable. Definitely his biggest weakness as of right now.

We play 5 straight borderline playoff teams. So far we barely beat the Seahawks, crushed the Eagles and got crushed by the Bills. We have Dolphins and Lions next. Let’s see how it goes. We can still finish this stretch 4-1. If we get blown out by both teams, it’s definitely panic button time.

I think most of us are just taking a wait and see approach…..well some of us. Some are actively rooting for them to lose prove them right….
I have been taking a wait and see approach for 28 years and counting. I kind of expect the same thing and hope for a miracle.

I'm not losing my faith in this team. Too much football yet to be played and a lot can still happen. Yesterday was tough but I still see the Cowboys making it to the NFCCG. One game at a time. Time to beat the dolphins.

Same I'm just trying to look ahead to the Miami game. Practice hard this week, fix the many, many mistakes from Sunday and get the W in Miami.

Why are the fans who are quick to write us off after a loss never the ones to hype us up after a W?
I don’t know where you are getting your data and opinions from but mine comes mostly from our local newspapers and beat writers .

And most called last weeks big win a signature win. One that definitely propelled the Cowboys to a more serious contender . I also echoed on this site .

After this loss the mood has changed . Our losses on the road to arguably the best 3 teams we’ve played this season calls into question the mentality of this team on the road along with how much our blowout wins at home against lesser teams might inflate how good this team is. All are valid points.

But I think our road woes bring into question what the effects and impacts could be in the playoffs as a WC team. Again , valid concerns.
