How about resigning LVE(we like our guys) instead of signing Wagner who even at his age is in a different stratosphere than LVE and has said he wants to play in Dallas.
Many fans think we'd be just fine if LVE was back on the field. Just like Jerry does.

And you keep complaining for a 28 years.
When you are used to winning Super Bowls, never ending incompetence is hard to take.

And getting slapped on the face by the players and coaches like last Sunday is especially difficult

I see the usual people saying relax we will be back. I do not see it that way. When you get beat early in the season the way the boys got beat today. Yes you can comeback. Your still establishing your identity. By this time I’m the season. You are who you are. Soft in the middle. The safeties are sub par, have been ever since Roy Williams. Talk about your running backs, talk about you MaZi’s another Wolverine bust. This team needs to draft an elite safety in round 1. This team was demolished. They got hit in the mouth and walked off the fields looking like chumps.
You cant recover from or to something you are not.

This team is bad at QB and the defense without Hankins and LVE is bad against the run. It was so last year and we didnt do anything to improve in both areas.

You can compensate against bad defenses. It shows against the betters one. Thats all

its not like we played bad against those teams. We just played at a level we are able to.

If your DL doesnt take away blockers than as a LB or safety you will have problems tackling.
When your defense is able to take away your first read and can disguise or mix up zone and man schemes then your bad QB shows his deficits. You wouldnt notice such a massive decline in performance if your QB was a good one.

Maybe because we have seen this same story over and over for the last 28 years
Pretty close alright...nothing but war crimes with death and destruction the only thing in view for the team sport. You bet, figure out solutions and figure this:

Here are the current records:

AFC

Ravens 11-3
Dolphins 10-4
Chiefs 9-5
Browns 9-5

Teams w/ 8-6
Buffalo
Bengals
Jaguars
Colts
Texans

NFC

49'ers 11-3
Dallas 10-4
Eagles 10-4
Detroit 10-4

Ravens and 49'ers the only teams in the NFL with a better record. +1

The Dolphins, Eagles, and Lions have equal records at 10-4.

It takes a poor current fan to see less than real potential here. Make one's own excuses for not taking value in their current status. This team is not hand cuffed to past failure as are the fans here and now.

Three games really isn't much of a hurdle to enter the playoffs and with real strength...no matter how many no they can't that bellow out.

Cry on one's own time then...Merry Christmas. The Cowboys are still fine!!!!!:starspin:

He was top shelf on the Dallas scheme. Injury is never known before the fact. This was a force trauma incident for him.

Well technically we have not won a SB since the salary cap. When you over pay players like Zeke, it has a huge impact on the rest of your roster.

Positions with shorter careers are not good long term investments, no matter how much we like the player. Most likely better off trading them for additional picks.

For some reason we also like to do this with players coming off major injuries.

I don't know who looked worse, our high school level defence, or an offense who looked like they were lost in space.
The offense was bad, but the defense was pathetic.

Fact the defense is broken. Only way Dallas wins is if they can score 40 a game
It’s not really that it’s broken. It’s that we’re built to rush the passer but not stop the run. We have undersized players that can run, but they can be bullied in the running game. We’re going to have to build a defense that’s predicated on stopping the run first or teams like San Francisco are going to continue to be a physical mismatch for us.

Undersized players should still be able to tackle. I'm not buying it.

We aren't undersized (well we MIGHT be)... we lack heart, discipline, and accountability.

When you can't get fired for not doing your job, you won't. Starts from the top down.

The undersize part that’s hurting us is in the trenches, plus losing LVE who has size. Fans can hate on them all they want but he made some good plays in the running game. Mazi is listed at around 330 pounds but from what I hear he’s playing at around 290. He looked small out there. We’re not getting off blocks upfront and are getting pushed back. Backs are easily getting to our second level. We’re getting gashed up the middle and around the perimeter. Same thing we saw against Arizona and San Francisco.

Okay we disagree. It's not our size but our lack of tackling technique...imho.

We got on people but didn't tackle them. If you are smaller.... you have to wrap them up not bump them down.

Best tackle I saw all day was Zach bumping off the D for a flag. We never made QB pay for running. Not "undersized"...lack of interest.

It’s not like I listen to everyone who gets paid to talk football, but practically all of them agree the Cowboys are undersized upfront. We’re built for rushing the passer, but not stopping the run. This is why we’re losing battles in the trenches. Our guys are getting manhandled upfront. Granted we tackled poorly on Sunday but that’s not why we’re having difficulty stopping the run.
