Jus as i thought, you had “unlikely” confused with “not possible”
Where did I say "not possible"? That's just you putting a spin on it out of some odd desire for conflict.

I asked "why would anyone have thought it would be negotiated out". In other words (since you can't seem to grasp the meaning of the original ones), I didn't say provisions can't be negotiated out, I asked why people would think this provision would be negotiated out.

But you seem intent on suggesting I posted things I did not, and on ignoring what I did post

I have no problem with fans disagreeing with the moves the Cowboys make. I disagree with a lot of moves they’ve made or didn’t make. I only ask the Dak haters who claim we have no chance to reach a Super Bowl with him why they watch the team. They keep repeating over and over again that it’s going to be the same old story in the playoffs with Dak. If they honestly believe that, then why keep watching the team? They all make it seem like it’s hopeless with him. They put the entire blame for the Cowboys lack of playoff success on him. They think all the Cowboys need to do is change QBs and that will get them over the hump.

No QB is going to be able to get the Cowboys far in the playoffs if the defense continues to crap the bed and we continue to pile up penalties and can’t run the football. You can’t get far in the playoffs if your QB is having to carry your team. This is why Lamar Jackson has had problems in the playoffs. This is why Dan Marino was 8-10 in the playoffs and Dan Fouts was 3-4 and Warren Moon was 3-7. It takes a complete team to win a championship but good luck convincing this fan base of that.
It's the same old story when the Cowboys are in the playoffs. Dak isn't the same player. Before the playoffs everyone was saying the Cowboys are a Superbowl contender. Dak is a great leader. Then when they lay an egg it's everyone's fault but Dak. When you pay a QB the most in NFL history he better be able to carry the team. The fact is Dak is a different player in the playoffs.

It’s ok to rip a player for a bad play or a coach for a bad call or an owner for bad negotiation tactics. But you, and all the other haters, do nothing BUT that 24x7x365. That’s called a hater. Enjoy.
You guys cry hater over any criticism. Did you come up with the definition of hater? 24x7x365?? Your making stuff up.

He’s had some good playoff games. Hard for any QB to be the same player in the playoffs when their team isn’t the same. Our defense was ranked top five during the regular season last year and looked like absolute garbage against Green Bay. No one is saying when the team lays an egg it’s everyone’s fault but Dak. He certainly played a part in what happened against Green Bay, but the fans that hate him put the loss entirely on him. Paying a QB a ton of money doesn’t mean you expect them to carry you. If a QB has to carry their team they’re not going to get far. It takes a solid team to win a championship, not one that has to be carried.

Actually it will probably be better for all if you left.
It would be a lot better if you left, at least I understand football. If you have an issue with me put me on ignore.

So All the posturing and delay from Jerry and get basically didn't get anything for it.
Sure it did...it got him exactly what he wanted: 5 min of everyone talking about him an hour before opening day Sunday kickoff, ...5 glorious minutes of ME ME ME!...before the football world stopped caring and focused on more important things (like clipping their toenails, or what flavor oatmeal they wanted for bteakfast)

It’s the same way all over the NFL. Jalen Hurts is considered a bum by almost everyone. Playing in a Super Bowl does not spare him fans’ wrath. Goff made it to a Super Bowl. He got traded. Fans reserve the right to criticize with or without justification.

I’m not going anywhere and take your personal grievances somewhere else. I’m here to talk football. :thumbup:It’s pretty funny how some of you try and make this all about me.

Jerry, like the idiot that he is, in addition to just caving in to Dak's demands, added the no trade clause in there to make it a PR spectacle. I'm sure that Dak really didn't care about it. But Jerry being Jerry and being stupid added it for sheer publicity.

I never told anyone to leave the forum. You told me to leave the forum and if you continue to troll me and make this personal, I’ll report you…Got it? I suggested to those who aren’t happy with Dak’s extension and believe the Cowboys will never have playoff success with him, they should either find another team or stop following the Cowboys.

Why do you feel the need to tell others what to do. It doesn't sound like you enjoy it when I tell you what to do.
