Just me but the only way this matters is if Daks wins a Super Bowl within the next year or two. Otherwise, I don't see any team trading for his contract.

As long as he’s winning games and is productive and leads us consistently to the playoffs, he’s always going to be in high demand. Had we not extended him someone would’ve paid him even more than $60 million per season in free agency despite the fact that he hasn’t won a Super Bowl or even a divisional round game. All the QBs that are getting paid big haven’t won Super Bowls except for Mahomes. Since Dak was drafted in 2016, Mahomes is the only QB that was drafted since then that’s won a Super Bowl. Teams are looking for solid QBs that will give them a chance. None of these QBs are getting paid big based off Super Bowl wins.
