No way Notre Dame deserves a BCS game.

No way this deserved its own thread, particularly in this zone.
I feel the same way about threads slamming other teams players that has nothing to do with the Cowboys but the mods always leave those here so till someone can explain what goes here or don't :jerk:

10-2 is a pretty good record. They were playing the defending national champions. They have one of the toughest schedules every year due to their independant status. USC will be #1 again, take it to the bank.

When five of your ten wins are against UNC, Stanford and the military academies, that isn't saying much. Their other wins were against Ga Tech, UCLA, Purdue, Penn State and Michigan State, certainly not top powers this year either.

Steve Smith of USC was on Jim Rome today and said from film they knew the Domer secondary couldn't stick with USC receivers.

Notre Dame will get a BCS game only because its Notre Dame. Hell, they will probably get a set up game against he weakest BCS team so the domers can finally win a Bowl game.

No, they werent defending champs, unless some how Texas got on their schedule. Im not going to even bother reading the rest of that nonsense.

Maybe he was too blinded by that brutal schedule against Army, Navy, Air Force et al that Notre Dame played to realize USC lost to Texas last year.

It says again not from last year. I'm right & ND although not playing for national championship do deserve a high bowl for only losing to the #1 & 2 teams.

Frauds. I told fools like Burmafd that Quinn put up stats on bad teams and that ND was horribly over rated.

Take a second and recognize how right I was.

ND will still be in a BCS bowl because idiots like to watch them, we all know they dont deserve it.

This is sad. I watched that USC ND game. Brady Quinn played well in that game. ND receivers dropped passes all over the field. I agree, ND doesn't deserve a BCS but to say Quinn didn't play well is a bunch of BS IMO.

Agreed

Also, Charlie Weiss (Weis?) is a fat sack of goo who isnt worth half of his 10 million dollar contract, Brady Quinn is a fraud, and the Motre (Notre?) Dame defense is a siave (sieve?)

Weis took a team that was 11-13 the two years before he got there and he's gone 19-5 (that represents ND's first back to back winning seasons since '98. First back to back bowls since the same year). Four of the five losses came against teams that went into the bowl season ranked 1st, 2nd or 3rd in the BCS. Not too shabby for a rebuilding effort, wouldn't you say?

Give the man some time, let him bring another couple of top flight recruiting classes (as he did last year), and then the Irish haters will really have something to get worked up about.

GO IRISH!
