But if Jerry can keep Newman, Ware, Canty, and Barber long term as part of the nucleus....add that to the locked up nucleus of Witten, Romo, Ratliff, Spencer, Adams, Davis, Gurode, James, etc....

I don't think Jerry meant "wow" by resigning our guys either. I think he meant bringing in someone.

WOW is overrated. This year's group of FAs were Ho Hum. Moss could have been a wow but everyone knew he would re-sign with the Pats.

Jerry made the right choice by holding back and not going after Ho Hum players.

The only way to prove Jerry made the right choice is for this team to win a playoff game or a championship. sitting on your hands when you have not won a playoff game in 10 years, is terrible. we will see.

I don't know. I just don't want to start out next season with Crayton as our #2 WR (assuming we draft a CB first--meaning whatever WR we do draft is going to need time to develop and will not be ready to start). I think Jerry may be forced to get creative at some point this off season, either in a trade or signing Pacman. We may not have been active in the initial crazy FA period, but my guess is Jerry is going to have to look beyond the draft to meet some of our remaining needs.

Worse case scenario: They can add 4 first day Rookies to this thing at positions of need. That smells delicious.

I'm VERY happy that Jerry wow'ed me by signing key guys...helping continuity...replacing assistants with quality assistants...AND bringing Thomas in who I hope will be a key leader on the defense.

I think, amazingly, Jerry did a fine job...again....just like last off season.
