If Pollard and Dowdle (who if y’all don’t remember has some juice with that kick off return), can be very effective then I think it just nudges the FO closer to making changes.

They activated Sewo Olonilua, a UDFA I thought would make the roster as a FB/backup RB. The question on him is his blitz pickups but with some time on the PS I'm really interested to see him. Hopefully he gets some snaps, he is a big kid who could be interesting in that 3rd RB/spot FB role.

He was playing hurt last week behind four backup OL and the one time they opened a hole for him he took it 26 yards. Fans should always be careful what they wish for when saying the starter sucks.

Hard to truly test a theory on 1 game. Niners have good defense (some injuries) and haven’t prepared for TP to be the starter they are facing. I hope TP shows out cause I hate losing and I hate San Fran!!

Yes, we will get some good data to compare and project. At this point of the season, we should be evaluating all players and experimenting.
