We rarely draft WR's early and then wonder why we don't have any quality WR's. I believe Dez is the only one we've drafted in the first 2 rounds in last 20+ years. Prior to Dez their excuse always was that it took a WR at least 2-3 years to develop and have an impact. All the while rookie and 2nd year WR were coming into the league and immediately contributing and having huge impacts.

All the while we're trying to find day 3 draftees and undrafted FA's to come in and fill our roster at WR. Totally insane way of thinking.

Good point. TWilliams was a 3rd. Antonio Bryant was a 2nd but he was a high ceiling player with a likely personality disorder. Baby T. O.

We don’t need a savior at WR

If we want to be a power running team we just need a more solid TE like a Greg Olsen or a Jason Witten 5 years ago

We need to draft a Kelvin Benjamin type or Anquan Bolden type as the #2. We also need a burner who can stretch a defense. Even if he can't do anything else.
