They threw to Noah Brown 3-4 times yesterday, he had less separation than Dez.

The wr answers are not currently on the roster. Neither is the qb, but that is a whole different thread.

Brown is a project. Too early to say how he'll fare but at least he's good in the blocking department.

We rarely draft WR's early and then wonder why we don't have any quality WR's. I believe Dez is the only one we've drafted in the first 2 rounds in last 20+ years. Prior to Dez their excuse always was that it took a WR at least 2-3 years to develop and have an impact. All the while rookie and 2nd year WR were coming into the league and immediately contributing and having huge impacts.

All the while we're trying to find day 3 draftees and undrafted FA's to come in and fill our roster at WR. Totally insane way of thinking.

It is. But then you take a look at all the first round WRs over the last 5 years and it's scary how few are impact players. Nelson Aguilar, Watkins, that fast guy in Cincy that hasn't even dressed this season, Treadwell, Doctson. ECT

WR position looks like the biggest gamble of all possible positions to draft in the first round.

We’ve seen Dez be accused like this before and it turned out he wasn’t complaining at all so his body language may not fit the narrative based on his past “blow ups”.

I still believe its more our scheme then the players.

I bet Bill Belicheat can do wonders with our wr's.

You make it harder on the wr's when the cb's, safeties and linebackers can pretty much guess your route you are running.

Noah Brown has a grand total of 4 catches for 33 yards and zero touchdowns this season. As put off as I am with Dez the only things I’ve seen Noah Brown do that Dez has done is not show up in games and drop passes.

Brown May develops into a player but there is absolutely no evidence in those 4 catches he can replace dez or even make the roster next year
