rewatched the Seattle Playoff game. I think we underestimate how bad he is. He couldn’t catch a cold.

I'm not joking, and I'm not poking fun at your post. But Brown actually missed practice time the week after that game with a virus. So it turns out Brown did catch something. And it's possible we was sick in the Seattle game; too.

Noah Brown is an outstanding blocker but as a receiver, he has hasn't shown anything worthy of earning the "receiver" title. Short of displaying anything contrary to that impression, I think he's destined to be waived sometime before TC is history. Some guys simply don't qualify.

Rico will be on his third accrued season, if he makes the team. Last season was his first to get snaps. Given his lack of experience, he's coming along fine. Rico was delusional about his own expectations. We don't have to be.

He may be competing with Brown for a roster spot. Giant blocking TE vs. Tiny blocking TE.

Yes, most fans can't comprehend that it takes time for players that didn't play college football.

Rico was basically a rookie in 2018 with the previous 2 years as his replacement for playing in college.

His 2019 training camp will be the true test for him.

He got some snaps in real games in 2018. Now he should know what he has to do in order to become a legit NFL player.

That was one of his worse games. He’s a solid blocker and usually he can catch. I really think they should look at a potential position switch with him to tight end.

He's a good blocker but not a good WR at all. I'm ready for someone else. I don't think he can be a TE either.

I would keep Rico over Noah.

He’s not yet but who knows what he will be this year. We are taking about our 5th or 6th receiver. If he’s replaced so be it. As of now he’s under contract and is a asset in the run game. He was a project when we got him.

Yeah. His great body of work makes you over look that performance.....no.

That's a nonsensical comeback. I specifically said he was a marginal player, yet to form your response you had to pretend my comment somehow suggested Brown had a "great body of work". The fact is, though his "body of work" is very mundane, his history is not catching only 25% of his targets as occurred in that game. One game doesn't define anyone, whether the player is All Pro or a sparingly used backup.

He is a niche player. Can block. But not a real WR and no he can't bulk up to be a TE.
I think some fans don't understand that being a good blocker as a WR is very different than being a good blocker as a TE, playing on the line of scrimmage at the point of attack and having to help block big DE's and rushing LBs.
