Wont happen,:muttley:JG likes old & slow TE's !
Plus that would be asking dallas FO and coaches to think outside the box and
be innovative! Not gonna happen.

I just watched the playoff games too , and noah had one pass go off him and right into defenders hands, that was only play I remember with him. and it was at goal line which
made it really bad.

This is the same team that converted a LB to a FB, a QB to a safety, lined Prime Time up at WR, carried 3 kickers one season, are trying to convert a basketball player into a goal line TE and have taken a flyer on players from every second tier football league, CFL and rugby.

Just bc it doesn’t all work out, doesn’t mean they don’t try.

I've seen some good plays from noah. hoping sanjay lal will bring out the best in him. he's a huge wr in the same physical mold as Michael Irvin. he'd be deadly on slants and across the middle. a chain mover who's hard to tackle. a lot of up side. just needs the work. he'll have to shine in camp this year.

rewatched the Seattle Playoff game. I think we underestimate how bad he is. He couldn’t catch a cold.
Highly replaceable,, NBs only chance is an unbelievable camp, and even more impressive preseason.
NB doesn't need to take a step, he needs 2.

Dez will be playing for the Mean Machine soon.

I guess I'll never understand the Dez hate

A guy that was a top draft pick who made an impact immediately, was amongst the top at his position early in his career and for multiple years, who loved the Cowboys more than all of us combined and then was cut by the team without even giving the option to take a paycut.

Very weird to me

Amari Cooper
Michael Gallup
Randall Cobb
Tavon Austin
Cedrick Wilson
'Draft Pick'

Allen Hurns
Lance Lenoir
Devin Smith
Noah Brown

Exactly, I don't see Noah Brown making this roster. 6 is about the most WRs a team will keep on the roster. I also would be glad to see Lenoir finally gone. He was dreadful.

Why is the FO so enamored with this guy?

I mentioned moving him to TE last year and everybody said that was stupid and he wasn’t heavy enough....
I said the same and still think it would be a good idea. We don't have the speed/hybrid TE like him on the roster and his blocking is outstanding!

He fills a role that no one else on the team can right now (big WR, plays special teams). He hasn't been productive, but on the few chances he's gotten, especially down around the goal line, Dak has to take some of the blame for those missed opportunities. He threw it about 7 yards short against the Commanders (I think) and NB was open on that pass in the WC game but the ball was behind him and Wright made up the ground and broke up the pass and came down with it, which was a pretty amazing play by Wright.

We know Tavon is back next year. Wilson's spot should be pretty secure, since he's super cheap, should be able to contribute on special teams and could develop into a really good WR. We'll see what happens with Hurns, and Lance, and Devin, and whoever they draft/sign in a couple of weeks. NB will have to convince them to keep a 6th WR, but unless someone gets hurt (and someone always gets hurt), I hereby declare him on the outside looking in.

He was hyped up his rookie season as a big catch radius jump ball guy like Dez.

Everyone loves the blocking, but without the catching, he's just a really small blocking TE. The rest of the teams in the league should know this by now.

But we got cute in the Seattle game. Brown got 4 targets, while he had gotten only 8 the entire regular season and not more than 2 targets and 1 catch in any single game.

I wanna second that hes good as gone but I think they like him. Hes in the redzone and 3rd down situations. Pretty important role

But, I hear he's only a decade away from producing.......so that puts him ahead of our GM and HC.

Rico will be on his third accrued season, if he makes the team. Last season was his first to get snaps. Given his lack of experience, he's coming along fine. Rico was delusional about his own expectations. We don't have to be.

He may be competing with Brown for a roster spot. Giant blocking TE vs. Tiny blocking TE.
