Noah Brown's future

People are going to be surprised. Brown does all the dirty work and can flex to the H-back/WR hybrid that we like. He is one of our best special team players too. He gives us more value then people give him credit for. He has a good camp and he makes the team.

He’s at the bottom of the position group, with all that entails. Still though, he’s a guy they worked to get active last year, and a guy they gave offensive snaps to. The old regime liked him.

I can’t figure out the receiver group. Unless they outright cut Dez, it doesn’t make a lot of sense to me. Especially if they’re looking to draft guys too.

Don't have to worry about that for a while at least. Bring them all to camp, never know who gets banged up in TC. Could be a smart move. I don't think Thompson is a lock, and we *could* carry 6.

Maybe why we picked a few up in FA. Will likely draft one also.
If it was Jones then the team or Williams was lying about how it happened. Not saying dropping a weight on your foot could not cause a jones fracture but where a jones fracture is located it is highly unlikely. If it was the 5th metatarsal he broke it doing something other than lifting weights. Jones fracture is the outside of the foot the 5th metatarsal leading down to the "pinkie" toe.

We might carry 7, depends on what Dak friendly means.

It all sounds like it hurt.

I'm just loving the competition at WR and look forward to seeing who steps up their game this summer.

The way I see it ......when you think about this group, think what happen to 2016 secondary. I honestly believe is where this unit is going. Maybe not this year but all current starter purge by 2019.

With all of the changes/additions at receiver, it will be interesting to see if Noah Brown has a future with the team. There has been no news about him competing for a starting spot. He is a solid receiver but he doesn't possess great traits in speed or athleticism. He is a decent blocker. He may be relegated to reserve status and special teams mainly due to his low cost. If any WR on the roster can't beat out Terrence Williams for a starting spot then they are just roster fillers.

He'll be in the mix competing but will have his work cut out for him to make the roster

He should be kept over a bunch of the TEs. He can block better than they can.

Yep we keep TE's as blockers why not WR's right! Actually I think I heard that mentioned once, converting him to TE. It was only mentioned on here though so take it with a grain of salt
