It's actually a perfectly legitimate argument.
The NFL is like a tennis match between quarterbacks. Quarterbacks have to hold serve against guys like Rodgers. You remember the Romo-Peyton classic? The Chiefs-Rams game last year with Mahomes and Goff? Romo spent most of his entire career trying to win shoot-outs with his horrible offensive lines and historically terrible defenses. Most of the time, he kept up just fine.
The NFL heavily favors the offense. If you're a good quarterback, you should be really hard to stop. The rules are designed to make sure you are.
I'm certainly not blaming everything on Dak, but that's not the point. The NFL game is all about the quarterback. Elite ones keep you in games when things are awry. They have the ball in their hand and make the real-time decisions. They have to will it. That's why they get paid like they do.
they dont play each other..sorry its not like tennis.. its an old term used by FANS, nothing more then fodder for debates. sure its fun to see game like that but its the defense that has the last laugh and in Denver that day our olinemen got pushed back into Tony during his follow through and caused the INT.their D beat our O that day for the play that mattered..
the only way to evaluate a qb dual is to have both play on the same team and with the same players and situations.. you know the old QB Controversy gets stirred up... each QB plays against a Defense, our D didnt hold up and theirs did, its not Darnold vs Dak its Darnold vs our D.. = Fail in the first half.. its their D against our Offense total FAIL in first half...
we need to Start off much quicker and play well in the first half or this will eb long season..the entire TEAM..
