my, how your tone has changed, a few weeks ago, you came on here talking smack, not anymore

you liking that humble pie?

and no, I don't think this game is close, the final score may indicate that it wasn't a blowout, but like wk. 2, the #s will show how one-sided it was, in our favor

guys, why do you think only Washington will come into the game fired up? remember what they did to us last year in Fed Ex? I'm sure the players still vividly remember that game, and will make sure that doesn't happen again, they also remember getting swept by Washington last year, so they will be fired up too, and they have something the skins don't going into this game, the high of an emotional victory carrying them

this will be all Cowboys tomorrow, book it!

Any team can win; no one thought Dallas had a shot to defeat Carolina and it ended up a Dallas blowout.

Throw out the records, forget the injuries, this is an NFL divisional game and Washington is at home. This is going to be a scrape.

we were actually favored going into the Carolina game

correct me if im wrong, but I remember you all stating the exact same thing going into washington last year.

Something about how charged you all would be because of that emotional loss that you suffered at the beggining of the year.

Personally though, I think the emotional thing is hogwash. Both teams are going to come out fired up, and both teams are going to be ready to play.

emotional loss from weeks ago, doesn't compare to a just recent, emotional butt-whooping

consider yourself wrong...and corrected :)

That was an awfully emotional game for our Cowboys against the Panthers. Often times it's easy to come out a little flat after you have one of those. Conversely with the bye week Washington has had two weeks to build this game up into an epic meeting that they have to win. With that being said, I think we will win. But I don't believe it will be easy.

Also, there are posters saying that "well, this a divisional game, at their house, and they will be ready, this and that and this and that"...

Well, it was a divisional game at our house when the Giants came and kicked that Cowboy butt...so?

The Cowboys have a ton of incentive to win this game...they got spanked last year in the last game and that is on their minds...why let a lowly team like the RedStinks win a divisional game when they are not going anywhere anyway...the Cowboys are playing with a new vigor now because of the change at QB...and, the RedStinks are banged up and have not had any meaningful contact because of their bye week...

So, although the game might be close at first, as usual, I think as the game goes on, because of the depth that the Boyz have, and a new sense of pride, I think this is a win for the Cowboys...

I think it will be tricky in the beginning, but I think we just pull away mid-2nd, our team is too talented, and deep for the paper-thin Skins to hang with, emotion or not

so your saying that just because the games are further apart, it isn't going to mean as? I don't buy it. the games could be 15 weeks apart, or 3 weeks apart, it doesn't matter, they are still going to remember a game like that.

It's payback time! The Cowboys' worst defeat was in Washington last year and they need to get even. I remember them blaring "Mommas don't let your babies grow up to be Cowboys"? I do.

The Commanders are down and we're going to keep it that way!

let me ask you this, what is going to get you more fired up...

getting dumped by a girl 6 weeks ago (wk.2 last year to the 2nd matchup), or hooking up w/ a hot babe a week ago (beating Carolina)?

I don't buy how losing a game weeks ago has the same emotional impact as blowing a team out a week ago, it's not the same, so yes, that's what I'm saying, they will remember a recent win more than a weeks ago loss, esp. considering in the NFL you have things to take your mind off of losses that were weeks ago, such as other opponents, lessening the emotional impact

Oh, alright. I thought you were comparing the losses against us, and their time apart, not the win you had last week.

Carry on ;)

but anyways, back to what you are talking about...

Last year, you all also came off of an emotional victory on the road. A 31-28 victory in KC.

Going into that game against KC, you all were on a 2 game losing skid, and this game was starting to look very important to you all.

Now, doesnt that sound kind of similar to this year?

Hey... at least he's still over here and taking what's coming, instead of only being over here in the offseason when they are always champs. To his credit, he's still over here talking to us with his team sitting at 2-5 and on a three game losing streak.

That is a lot more than you can say about a lot of these offseason Commanders that showed up here.
