...those shoulder pad cooling systems. The Dolphins were not using them and they were gassed by the 2nd quarter. I never saw a single Cowboy look that way. I think this had a huge impact on our ability to run away from them in the 2nd half. Yes I know the turnovers, but being fresher was part of the defenders being in the right spot or beating the WR to the spot. That game reminded me of the pickle juice game against philly some years back!

It helped and Dallas used them last year as well. The Dolphins defense was also tired in the 2nd quarter because Dallas held the ball for 19 minutes in the first half. That will wear a team down. I also think the field conditions took away some of the speed and quickness from both defenses.

I'd love to try them out to be truthful. There is nothing like having more energy than the other guys at the end of the game. When you can visually see that the bear has come to get them and you've got pep in your step, it is an adrenaline boost.

I have to tell you guys it wasn't that hot. It was hot from about 1-3, after that it became cloudy and we had a nice breeze. I told you guys that dolphin homefield advantage crap in september is vastly overrated. Look at there home record in september from the 04 season on, it's .500 at best. When the dolphins were good it was an advantage, not know.

Mickey is incorrect. Some of the players just don't use those new shoulder pads. Those are the guys that were getting aired down by the trainer.

Every team can have this system, but the cheap owners won't get it for their team. It should be standard equipment for the Florida teams, and Arizona and Houston.

Maybe Bates can figure out a way to turn them into heating systems come December.
