Hello people.
To start off, I want to say how impressed I am with the potential of this secondary. Mike Jenkins comes from a team that succeeded BECAUSE of those guys. This guy is gonna be solid and I cannot WAIT to see teams try to pass on us.
I love Roy to death, I have been defending him for years now. There have been some classic motivating quotes made by Jerry recently. I love it. He praises Roy and his potential but we all know what it means, produce or prepare to part ways.
The possibilities are incredible with this secondary. If things work out with Pac man (which I think will) then you're gonna have a SICK crew back there. I'm just envisioning Roy lurking around, doing what he does best. Answering the call of the silver and blue.
*sigh*
Marion Barber is a premier back. I have heard, "he's not a second half back." Or, "he needs to prove he can have gas in his tank when it matters."
Well, he's been splitting time with Julius since he got to Dallas. It's obvious we are sticking with the split back running game. It should be very interesting to see how it works out with Felix Jones. I've heard very "strong" football opinions say good things about Felix, I cannot wait.
It's been a year, and Good ole Wonder Wade's 3-4 should be ready to go. If this works out and Roy can be the hybrid we all think he should be, good grief! I'm gonna jump right out of my chair when he gets his first pop, hopefully on someone like... ohhh I don't know... Malcolm Kelly in a disgusting Commander uniform.
Tomahawk chop time for D. Ware. QB's beware.
I'm worried about the O-line, as always. Romo is a quick enough QB and has a quick enough release to buy time, but it's obviously up to his WRs to produce and come through in the clutch. I noticed Antonio Bryant was re-instated as a free agent. I think he'd work better with Wade than Big Bill, that's a no brainer. Anyway, that's just a thought.
T.O will still play with a chip on his shoulder. If the rest of the wrs can stay healthy, that is definitely one of the most dangerous groups in the league.
And then it brings me to my favorite player on the team, Jason Witten. He's obviously the X-factor on this offense. Romo's best friend. The hard working hoss that everyone in Dallas loves. Gotta love it.
I think I am pretty much excited to see how this secondary works out. And I am extremely excited to see Marion the Barbarian. If that guy doesn't get you completely AMPED when he powers that football, then I just don't know what to say to you.
GO BOYS!
For those of you on The Ranch, yes this is the same thing I posted on that board. I just didn't feel like re typing it so...
