I feel for you...I have a similar problem.

They announced today that the Saints div. round playoff game will be on Saturday Jan. 16. Since the Cowboys would have to play in Minnesota in the div. round if they win this weekend, they will be playing on Sunday Jan 17 at noon. I'm going to miss the Sunday games that weekend. My son is playing in an honor collegiate concert band in Lafayette on the 17th at 2pm. :cry3:

I honestly dont know what kind of obligation could keep me from seeing this game. Not saying anyone else is less of a fan for having to miss it but i dont think theres anything other than an immediate relative being on their death bed that could pry me away from my tv. :laugh2:

couple options and comments

1) not sure if you are a direct tv customer or not..supercast on the iphone will not work for this game

2) slingbox is ABSOLUTELY your best bet if you want to watch the game on your phone (need to jailbreak your phone first) at the wedding

3) if you are looking for a bar in Austin, there is ONLY and I mean ONLY 1 bar to go to in Austin and that is 3rd base. That bar is flat out, hands down, absolutely, the best sports bar I have EVER been to. Make sure you go to the 1 downtown, the other 1 is not so good.

I have a wedding too... Has anyone used Sprint NFL Mobile Live before? Is it reliable? I just downloaded it and it doesn't seem too good.

The reception starts at 6:00.... With any luck I can leave after the meal at around 8:30 and get home to watch the second half.

I plan to DVR the game and just get updates on my phone via ESPN or NFL Mobile Live. I hate that I won't be able to listen to the last hour of the game, but my son has to come first.

I had a friend that was getting married in 1996 when we were playing the Vikings in the playoffs (our last playoff victory).

I had the game on the radio with one earplug in my ear. When they asked if anyone objects to the wedding, I yelled "Yes". This was the same time that Dallas scored a TD.

If NBC has live feed online, why can't you just watch it on an Iphone without a slingbox?

I watched the Sunday night game online last night, and the feed was pretty good.

NBC always puts their games on with live online feed.

Every guy there will be wanting to see the game too. Just call up a rental place and have the largest screen available delivered to the reception. Take up a collection to pay for it and you will be both the most loved guy there (by the males) and most despised (by the females), but from what I have seen the males are mostly sitting in a group or by themselves while the woman get together and gossip.

Now - for the couple doing this to you. Nothing like some anchovy paste and sardines spread on the engine and manifold of the get away car.
