Nooooo! Not Saturday!!!!

:laugh2: True story for you guys...

I had a friend that was getting married in 1996 when we were playing the Vikings in the playoffs (our last playoff victory).

I had the game on the radio with one earplug in my ear. When they asked if anyone objects to the wedding, I yelled "Yes". This was the same time that Dallas scored a TD.

That's nothing. I was offered tickets to the game, but had to say no because my dad, who is visiting from India, whom I have seen after 10 years, is going back home next Monday.

I tried to take him along to the game, but he doesn't understand, and is refusing to go :bang2:

Embarrassing or not this is the time to come down with a bad case of explosive diarrhea. I know a bottle of that Miralax stuff works.

Wow Everson, that is just not a good image.

If you're a DirecTV super fan subscriber, they make an app that allows you to watch games live over the iPhone or Palm Pre. Only bad news is I'm not sure playoff games apply or if NBC games are shown on it.

Otherwise, the thing is pure gold.

All NBC games can be watched live online. I don't know if it works on an Iphone, as I'm too cheap to buy one.

It has not been a good day. First, I realized the conflict with the game. I woke up thinking about it. Second, I had to go back to work after the holidays. Third, I went grocery shopping for my wife. Spent 30 minutes in the parking lot trying to find her car before I realized I drove my car!

I should have stayed in bed.

I'd drink a bottle of Colon Blow if I thought anyone would believe I was sick.

My wife's cousin, and close friend, is finally getting married. ON SATURDAY NIGHT!!!!!

I've missed exactly 2 games since 1989.

Pressure from the family to be there. Tons.

The wedding's at 5:00. The game is later, but I'll be in Austin and away from the love of my life....my 52" HD TV. I'm going to have to get a room there somewhere with the game on!

Curses.

Arghhhhh!!!!!

I have never missed a game since 1966.

I understand. I'm from India. Just tell him that you will drop him off at the mandhir before the game, and he can pray for a Cowboys playoff victory, if he's unwilling to attend. I think there is a mandhir close to the stadium.

My in-laws are praying for a Cowboys victory. They live with me. They think I will lose my sanity if this playoff drought continues.

I feel you, I really do. But my wife's family isn't like mine. They don't schedule weddings around "release dates" or "due dates."

This is a big deal in her family.

:laugh2: My bad. Yeah, the in laws are worried about me. We have a small mandhir at home, and there is a mini Cowboys helmet inside of it. They pray for the Cowboys every day.

tell them you will show up when they renew their marriage.

LOL. Dude, this is so hilarious. My fiance's bestfriends wedding "shower" or whatever is Saturday.. she asked me if I'd DVR the game and wait for her. . . I didn't respond.

"no baby, I didn't get that text.."

You need an official Jerry Jones TV--Mitsubishi 73 inch.Once you go big you never go back

Yeah....I'll be there. I'm friends with him too. Good friends. Good enough that I asked him to move the date. LOL. He declined. Something about starting things off on the wrong foot and all.....

Any chance I can get the game on my iPhone?

I'm thankful the wedding's not at 7:00.

Buy a Slingbox and download the iPhone sling viewer app. You need a wifi connection to use it though which hopefully will be available at the reception site.
