They hardly ever keep older players around. This is the last year that Westbrook will be there.....book it.

That's the smart thing to do. If you draft well you can do that.

let me remind everyone

I predicted Super Bowl a month ago

The reason that you have to remind us because we don't care what you say. Yes I am joking.

That is the best you got..Poor Bob, you use to be almost funny.

Kicker and your #2 Receiver is not producing.

When the #3 receiver can get 99 yards, #2 can be off his game. Crayton ate them up in the slot, and if the Eagles go blitz happy, Crayton might go for 200.

Yesterday Norm was spouting that the Eagles had to make big plays....

I was tempted to call in and say, that was the game plan the first two games where they averaged 2 points per quarter but alas work duty called.

IMHO, the Eagles have to figure out how to run the ball some and get their screens going.

They will not beat Dallas just winging it deep because those are low percentage plays.

Norm was also talking about how bad the Eagles field position is noting they couldn't get good returns but what he failed to address is that the Eagles just aren't getting first downs. You flip field position by gathering at least 3 first downs and not punting from your 20.

After listening to Norm yesterday I was much more convinced Dallas would win even without him predicting it because the scenarios he presented for Philly winning were bananas, so it doesn't surprise me today to hear him say they will NOT do so.

They HAD to wear them. The league and especially Jerry wanted to sell them. They had a one week window to sell these. It wasn't like they were saying "Look at us, we are the NFCE Champs!"

They wanted the Romo's and Austin's of all the divisional champions to wear them. It's called Marketing.

I would imagine that those shirts and hats went into the lockers and haven't come out since.

It wouldn't even be a topic of discussion if we didn't have to win it against the Eagles, and then play them again this week.

That sucks. I think Hitzges is a buffoon. I think Dallas could very well get to the Superbowl and win it this year. If Hitzges agrees then I have to re-evaluate what I think I know about football.

Interesting.

I think Norm Hitzges is the most knowledage sports personality on the radio and has been for a while.

Now Bob Sturm has gotten better but I still think Norm Hitzges knows more about sports, including football then most of the non-Athletes on the D/FW airwaves.

But that is just my opinion.

why would people think the Eagles are the hard "out" and we would be going to the superbowl after we beat them ? The Fecals are a paper tiger and I have no idea why the media keeps crowning them ? They look awful in some games and havent beaten one playoff-bound team. Wouldnt the Vikes or Aints on the road be much tougher challenges ?

[Cowboys won the right to wear that shirt & certainly should have worn it. Part of the excitment of winning is to enjoy the win if only for the moment. Have no doubt they enjoyed the moment but then moved all cause all know it's more important to concentrate on the Eagles Saturday (& then probably the Vikes next week).

That's just crazy. I'd be shocked if that happened.

Okay, maybe two TDs isn't crazy. But four TDs is. I bet this is a nail-biter of a game that goes to the fourth quarter. We can't hold down their offense forever.

Ditto, I can't see it happening. We do win the matchups against them in just about every category, but a blowout is unlikely. The only way that happens is if we burn them on the blitz early and get up 14-0 or 17-0 at halftime.

One key to this game: no stupid turnovers.

VERY interesting. Most people won't touch a SB prediction yet. I won't even go that far. I don't want to look past each game....really savor each post season game!

I don't even like using the S word. Right now Philly is the only thing on my mind.

I hope he's right, but Norm has a habit of suffering from "last week-itis".
