We can always trade back up. It would cost less than what we got to move down.

Where is that guaranteed?

I think Pouncey goes #15 to Miami, that team is desparate for guard help. So desparate that they were signing spares from Dallas!

As of now, they don't have a starting RB. I'm not saying a definite " No ", but that's not the style of the Dullphins' front office. They would move up, if they had a 2nd round pick, to get a WR if they could, but Ingram might be their pick. We'll see.

I don't consider either Wilkerson or Liuget great fits for the 3-4 defense. Just me, but I want no part of a 0 interception cornerback. Quinn is a good player, but where does he start for you in 2011?

All valid questions and arguments. We'll just have to wait and see how everything plays out. All I'm saying is that don't fret and dismiss trade proposals out of the blue because of this idea of drafting a " blue chipper " with the 9th pick. It's not that easy.

Sounds good. Put me down for Pouncey!

I see where you're coming from and I'm not completely averse to dealing down.

I would just want a better deal to do it.

And the first pick of Day 2 would have to be a part of that.

They want to deal?

Let's deal!

Actually the rumor out of Boston was that they discussed #17, #60 and #92 for #9 for Jordan but the rumor on the radio was also what would New England have to give Dallas if Julio Jones was there at #9 and the answer was that Dallas would demand "at least" #17, #33, and #92 but that St. Louis and Atlanta would be willing to top those numbers (not sure how unless it involved picks in 2012).

Should be an interesting night.

I dont like this trade at all...

you dont get many chances at a top 10 pick... so dont make a trade where you slide all the way down to 17 and possibly miss out on your top 4 guys on your board

Agree completely.

Now, replace #60 with #33 and we can talk. Otherwise, no dice.

If the Cowboys traded their 9th pick for the 17th and 60th, they would be getting robbed blind. They have a chance at a blue chip player and they would trade down for a 2nd, and probably 5th tier player.

Hell NO!

I agree, but I bet dumb*** Jerry does it.
