Bobby Carpenter and our 1st round pick in 07 and 08 to the Ravens for Ed Reed. Well, thats what I do in Madden 07 at least.

3 1st round picks for Reed.......Are to related to the ex GM for the Vikings?

Clearly you don't understand our head coach.

Dallas sends Tony Romo to the retirement home for Bryan Cox, Dave Meggett, and a bag of LT's finest. Thats more BP's cup of tea.

Is it even possible to trade two firsts in Madden? I thought you could only trade picks for the coming draft?

Lets just say on that subject. I disagree. I fully 110% don't expect a LB in a trade unless it's tied to something non-linebacker related.

I expect Defensive backfield. (nickle back, safety, CB of course we just got Coleman which plays both CB/Safety, nickle back and special teams so...) or I expect a TE or special teams. Of course again it seems we picked up a TE in Stanley.

Booger's nothing to write home about. His best seasons were when Sapp was lined up next to him.

Seriously, it would have probably been for a player none of us knew like that WR from Denver we traded for this summer.

I doubt it would have made us all go...WOW!!

I wouldn't expect anything. The trade deadline has passed.

The question is, could Anthony McFarland have helped us win and is he worth a 2nd round pick, like the Colts paid.

I would say he is worth a 2nd and he would have helped us win.

Saying that, I'm still glad we have our 2nd round pick also Booger is really more of a 4/3 DT, like a bigger Laroi Glover, not a 3/4 DT like we really covet.

I predict we had ZERO interest in Booger. He's a 4-3 DT. We just got rid of a pretty good one of those who would have cost less money and wouldn't cost picks.

Am I the only person that finds it hard to judge how well a DT is performing? Every other position on the field is easy to assess how well someone is playing. If the interior rush is solid does that mean he's playing well? If we're forcing runners to bounce outside does that mean he's playing well? Someone please enlighten me.

Just watch if they're getting push up the middle. If the center of the line is at a stalemate (while drawing 2 linemen) the 3-4 NT is doing his job.

Looks like the Colts won the bid for a DT.

I agree..I allso thought it was for that DT but Parcells was deinitly not going to give up a second or even a third I would imagine.
