Talking Cowboys and Parcells.

According to his sources, he was told that Bill was offered another Pay increase to stay but obviously decided not too.

It seems like BP did the right thing.

He was true to himself and left knowing he didn't have enough to give the organization. He could easily have stayed and pocketed his $5.5mm or whatever the figure was.

For the Cowboys' perspective, it was the right thing to do.

Norm is selling the company line that this was Parcells decision and thus, making Jerry look good. Jerry had seen enough to know Parcells time in Dallas was done and another year was not in the Cowboys best interest.

We will never know and we shouldn't. It was a private conversaton between BP and JJ and it resulted in him leaving. It really doen't matter. What matters is who JJ is talking to now.

I disagree.

The segment before and after this was made, he ripped Parcells pretty good.

The Ticket definately doesn't toe the Company line.

Don't think so. Chris Mortensen reported last night that Money nor player personel was the issue. Said that Jerry would have paid him whatever it took. Said if Bill had wanted TO gone in order to stay, TO would have been gone. Said Jerry did everything possible to keep Bill. Apparently Bill had just had enough.

From my time of listening to the ticket...they do not SELL the company line concerning the cowboys.

If anything I think they go out of their way to bash Jerry and the cowboys more than sell the company line and yes that is even after they became the "flagship" station.
