Wish Dak would have seen Dez running to an empty end zone. Norman got beat bad.

One thing I hope improves for Dak this year. He, at times, locks onto his short routes and never goes back through his deep reads.
You do realize as a QB you rarely have time to go through all of your progressions....let alone go through them again.

I love how josh talks trash all game. Acts dirty all game. And then goes and cries and tells on dez like a snitch little kid. I don't think dez said that. I think Norman is a head case. I think deep down Norman knows he's a fraud and that's why he's gotta talk all game. Dude holds and does pass interference on every play and I don't know why the refs never call it on him. Maybe cuz it's best for business to hype him up as elite when he's obviously not. Dude won't be relevant in 2 years

This might have been the best I've seen Dez look against a top-flight, trash-talking corner. His final stats weren't gaudy, but he was solidly beating Norman throughout this one, but just sometimes didn't get the ball. Loved how he played.

Dez also seemed to be taking high road in the smack talking. He acted like he could care less about Norman and it seemed to bother Norman even more. Dez was just blowing him off.
NPI

Would like to hear the conversation after the game.

And you do realize, most top notch QBs don't miss wide open players like that very often, right? This isn't the first time for Dak it has happened countless times this season. Just 3 weeks ago, Dez was wide open in the end zone against the Browns. You have to spot the broken coverage.

Now, I give Dak some leeway on this because he is a rookie and this is something he can improve upon. But do not tell me someone like Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers (In his prime) or even Romo missed broken coverage like that often. What we saw there was the same situation we saw against the Rams in 2014 when no one was around Dez for miles.

It's okay, Daky poo makes mistakes.

I've seen a lot of top notch QBs miss wide open receivers....including Romo.

I didn't say it never happens, I said it doesn't happen often. Tom Brady isn't going to miss a wide open Gronk streaking down to the end zone, Aaron Rodgers before his decline wouldn't have missed a wide open Nelson, and Romo rarely if ever missed a wide open Dez Bryant down the field.

Whether this is on the coaching staff telling him to look at the short reads first, I don't know. But when I see Dez running straight for the end zone and the ball doesn't go his way and I read some media people on Twitter saying Dak is missing a wide open Terrance Williams (Not the first time either, but can't confirm since I don't have all-22) it does make me worry down the road when those kind of passes can be kill shots.

It makes you worry? Dude he's having the greatest rookie season of all-time for a QB. Nothing about his play AT THIS POINT IN HIS CAREER should make you worry unless you're trying to nitpick.

I was gonna say Aaron Rodgers does it a couple of times a week and this offseason people said he was the best QB in the league and one one the best of all time.

I agree. He's playing with house money. Dak had every right to come into the season and suck. He was a 4th round rookie quarterback quarterbacking a team that went 4-12 last season. He was suppose to be bad. Anything at this point has been bonus and its been a full season of bonus.

I'm not sure what football you've been watching, but it happens more than you think....even with the top QBs in the league. And you say Romo rarely if ever? I've seen him miss it quite a bit. Maybe because I've seen a lot of his games, but I've seen him miss wide open players.

This whole thread is a complete fail.

Norman IS THE ONE who said about himself "where I'm from we unload the whole clip, so pretty much, whatever you wanna do..."
It's not clear if he's quoting Dez or if those are his words when he first mentions it.

But after watching the entire vid, you're right. Norman makes a reference to "unloading the clip" again where they're clearly his words, not Dez's.

Watch the vid starting at :45. Norman says, "I'm be me, that's who I am. I'm aggressive to end. I said I'm unloading the clip, all the way out till the end of the game."

I can't wait to see how he improves next year with an entire offseason as THE MAN under his belt. He's getting all the reps, all the nutrition and weight training attention as well.

The reporter who initially reported this said he later asked Norman to clarify and Norman said Dez said it to him. Which i think is a bold faced lie

SMH. I hope he is fined.

Elite players don't have to do stuff like this. Intentionally trying to step on his fingers or twisting his ankle is bush league garbage. If Norman was elite he wouldn't have to try and hurt the other player in order to slow him down. I hope he gets fined and suspended.
