Who is saying we had a good game? We sucked in all 3 phases plus coaching.
It was an atrocious effort, but at least there was effort. Not the end of the world, season, or playoff hopes. It's very simple really: the Cowboys need to bring their "A" game to every contest or they can be had. It's that simple. The loss of Durant and potential re-injury to Tony hurt more than the loss itself.
Regarding Romo: This whole "one hit away from the end" thing with Tony, I just don't think it's going to end well. I found myself a bit numb to Romo writhing on the turf again and while hoping he was ok, thinking if he goes down that's it regardless of the rest of the team's ability to move on.
Now I know this is the case with most NFL teams, but to suffer the same blitz result over and over reeked of lack of preparation and confusion in protection which is unacceptable, and with Weeden as the back up plan- meh, I just think we need to prepare NEXT season for the eventuality of Tony's retirement if the team stubbornly fails to counter what would look like a 7 man rush to anyone on the planet.
