We will see I will gladly eat Bledsoe crow...but if I had to bet I would bet I will be doing the serving and not the eating:eek:

LMAO

Man, you gonna get me fired for making laugh so hard.

Well see man, I think we both win if Drew and the line breaks out and starts playing good football.

This is funny to me. The INT/TD stats vs the TO/TD stats are something that I had many arguments over when we were discussing the signing of Bledsoe. Normally, it's Nors who tries to BS around that. Haven't seen him on the board lately. Never the less, Bledsoe's INT + Fumble numbers are horrible and always have been. Having said that, it is what it is. He is our starter and he will be for the foreseeable future. We should all get used to that and probably just accept it. We would all probably sleep better. Not trying to tell anybody what to do but honestly, we've covered this before. Now, it looks like it's coming home to Roost, per say. Does not good to harp on the I said or I told you so kinda stuff. It's done, it's over. He's our guy. Better or worse.

Err, the O-line does not throw the balls, take the sacks, etc. Bledsoe is a horrible quarterback.

if you gave the guy at least 3 freakin seconds to throw the ball maybe we could move down field. our ol sux right now. coaches are not doing thier job. i aint even a bledsoe fan but you gotta give the qb time to throw the ball. you know when our ol sux when the coach doesnt trust the center enough to run a shotgun!! you know you suck when the defense helps the qb hand the ball off to the rb!!hey al, andre you are in the nfl, if you cant snap from a shotgun you know you are not gona be on this team next year.

I agree, partially, but part of it is his fault. I don't blame him for the fumbles (when you get blindsided), but even under pressure he can make smart decisions and NOT throw ints.

No one should be surprised though, we all knew that if he doesn't get protection he will play incredibly bad.

Funny how so many are ignoring what we had before. The simple truth is he is better (far better) than what we had. You folks can throw rocks about how bad he is but the crux of our current problems far and away rests more on the OL than Bledsoe.

We should we working on a QB of the future, and no one disputes that. But blaming Bledsoe for our current woes is poor thinking.

I agree with you about the blame part but I don't agree with you about the far superior part. The truth of the matter is that Vinny posted all world numbers when the OL was playing well too.

I just think it is what it is. Not more, not less.

come on now are we watching some of the game. Drew fumbled twice. Ok the second one wasnt his fault. But the first he held onto the ball way too long. Plus their were opportunities to step up in the pocket. Drew will never take the boys to the playoffs...never

Are we watching the same game? Bledsoe held on to the ball because there was only TWO elgible receivers running routes who are being double teamed. What do you want him to do??? throw it and then criticize him for throwing into double coverage?? :bang2:

I think people are really fooling themselves if they dont think Bledsoe can get it done with a little more protection.

With the offensive line in disarray, Bledsoe's weaknesses are exposed. He still hasnt thrown alot of interceptions and fumbled alot.

Absolutley right....

Ignore the Bledsoe HATERS....They are fanning the flame of their agenda...

WE all knew that for Bledsoe to be successful he MUST have a solid O-line.

We do NOT have a solid O-line in fact, FAR from it....

Thus, Bledsoe is struggling...I am afraid the problem will not be fixed until next FA period where we bring in 2 STUD O-lineman and shuffle the entire line to upgrade the quality.

Bledsoe is NOT our problem folks....

Come on ... look at the BIG picture and you will see....

Let's see here

Fact:He still has thrown 17 Touchdowns which 17-11 TD/INT ratio is not all that bad. Not great but not horrible.

Fact:Jake Delhome, Kyle Orton, Eli Manning, Tom Brady, Michael Vick, Trent Green have all thrown 9 or more interceptions and 3 of these QBs have thrown as many as Bledsoe and most likley (maybe with the exception of ATL) all will be playing in the post season.

Let's give the guy some more time, come up with more innovative offensive playcalling and like one poster said in a thread "Let Drew sling it".

Remember, I was the biggest Drew Bledsoe hater on the block...well maybe not as big as Mike Winiki hahaha (JK) but the guy has won me over.

Well, the problem is that Bledsoe can not overcome the o-line problems.Yes, the o-line isn't helping him. By the same token, he can't help the o-line out (whether it be a physical limitation with him being a slug or just poor decision making under fire..) I don't hate Bledsoe per se but he definitely isn't the solution...

You are absolutely correct with Bledsoe regardless of where he played its ALWAYS the O-line...

And wherever he plays, he throws for 4000+ yards when the O-Line isn't a major problem.

1 INT per game is not a lot. That was what Marino averaged.

Not the solution to the O-Line's problems? You're absolutely right. You have a choice: get a new O-Line or get a new QB.

Bledsoe needed to play better.

He takes some of the blame but not ALL of the blame.

Taking that logic, then I would say that if Bledsoe needs a good line and protection...and we don't have it...We should be playing someone who can escape the rush...due to the bad line play...just to give us a chance.

Unless you think the line play will improve over the next few weeks ?

Hey Nors. I'm glad you said that. I agree with you and I give you props for being stand up enough to make that statement.

There are two fundemental problems:

1. Drew not getting enough time.
2. Not enough receivers going out.

Its a darn shame that they go hand in hand. Without time we cant send out enough receivers. And he only gets time when we keep in people to block and cant send out enough receivers. ITS ANARCHY

Bledsoe has to take some of the blame. He's not making throws he should, even with time

If it makes anyone feel better-Jake Plummer's weaknesses have slowly but surely been exposed in recent weeks.

I agree-in week 1 against SD, despite being beaten up physically, he still managed to come back, make plays, and light it up. IMHO-the pressure by NYG wasn't as bad as SD-there WERE times when he DID have throwing lanes and time to throw, but his throws were still way off.

Like I said-blame Jerry for all this QB mess he planted in post-Troy Aikman.
