I realized some years ago with Romo the QB that as long as JJ was Owner and GM, we will not go back to the SB. Nothing has changed that thought process. During Romo's time, JJ refused to address the trenches and wanted "flash players" instead. Thus a great QB never got to play in a SB. Now here we are facing one of the worse years in Cowboy history and looking up out of a deep hole. The Offense can't score and the defense looks like Swiss Cheese. The Coaching staff look like amateurs and are clueless on how to change plays during a game.
Everyone is pointing fingers at players and coaches but the only one who needs to be taken behind the wood shed is JERRY JONES. It starts here and goes down to the players.
It is getting dark but not quite dark yet. If Cowboy fans want change you need to go after Jerry and the way he does NFL Cowboy's business. Now I have given up hope for a SB until Jerry goes to the Big Oil Field in the sky. Hope for a Great GM to show up here and a HC that can turn the Cowboys around.

The end

I get your point but news flash, Jerry is not going anywhere. He will be around until he breaths his last breath. He will also continue to field coaches that make him feel comfortable. Our only hope is one day he hires a coach who makes him feel comfortable and is also a good coach. The chances are pretty slim but I think it is possible. We will never win it all with Garrett, that should be painfully obvious to all but the most rose colored thinking fans.

JJ loves being interviewed too much to quit. The most quoted owner since Al Davis maybe.

Fans have been pointing their fingers at Jerry on a regular basis for the past 20 years. Not sure where you've been.
Obviously not far! I just read all the "Recommendations on the CZ" and it seems that no one gets the real reason why we suck. You can make all the changes mentioned and still suck. It's the philosophy that needs to change and that can only happen at the owner and GM level. Once that happens then you can hope for another SB.

Jerry Jones is our Al Davis.

Running the team until he drops dead, hanging his hat on SBs won decades ago while making a cartoon character of himself and a joke of his franchise.
