Let me get this straight. Our offense was number 1, yes? and yet Kellen Moore sucks.

Our defense, while much improved was middle of the pack, and Dan Quinn is a genius?
 
I don't blame Dak/Moore as much as a blame Zeke and the oline.

We have a RB1 who can break a tackle to save his life and etch out at least 3 yards a carry. Yet his being paid more than any other back in the NFL.

The oline can't even block worth a lick. They can't even pass protect. Who catches these players?

Therefore, I don't blame Moore for abandoning the run. Zeke is just that bad when comes to running the ball.

They want Kellen back because they want continuity with Dak and don’t want to change the offense.


I don’t think Kellen is some huge problem. He’s ok.

elite LMAO not even close maybe average sure but if they cant run block and open holes and Daks running a lot, that not elite at all. How about the record number of penalty's by this OL and mad ethe offense 1st and 20 many games more than ive ever seen? taking away big plays and creating stalled drives

all OL issues not dak so sack numbers are down doesn't take into account the rest of the issues and errant throws while trying to get rid of the ball with players in his face and or on the run. that a fact..and lastly much of the pressures were from 4 man lines no blitzing they were able to pay coverage and get pressure and had no run threat made passing harder..you are blind if you cant see that.,
 
Here is what I saw happening with the Denver adjustment and after:
  • Teams were usually only rushing 4 and putting everyone else in coverage that they were disguising pre snap.
  • After the snap, the rushers would clog the middle and wouldn't even try to set the edge.
  • Receivers were frequently open, but they weren't wiiiide open.
  • The team would either run the ball up the middle and get stuffed or Dak would hold the ball forever waiting for someone to break completely free.
I don't blame the line or the receivers. The line was giving Dak plenty of time and when Pollard ran outside, there were miles of daylight. The receivers were playing against heavy coverage and still frequently getting separation. Many QB's are confident making throws when a guy has a step on 1 on 1 coverage but Dak isn't.

I blame:
1. Moore. The simplest adjustment was to just play Pollard and call off tackle runs, which teams were giving Dallas. Moore simply refused to do that. If Dallas had, it would have broken the entire defensive scheme. Beyond that, he has a very simplistic playbook that Warner basically tore apart. The team frequently telegraphs the play with the pre-snap lineup which, IMO, is inexcusable. Outside of 1 or 2 random plays per game, the playcalling is very consistent. Towards the end, my family and I were successfully predicting the play more than half the time beforehand and we are no experts. Opposing defenses probably knew it just as well as the offense.
2. Zeke. Zeke was injured and had no burst. He couldn't break it outside and would dance as he came up to the line before being knocked over. Hopefully it was injury related because he looked completely washed the second half of the season. If you had an RB with speed, like Pollard, teams couldn't have done that.
3. Dak. Dak struggled throwing into the coverage schemes. He didn't see open guys, refused to pass into 1 on 1 situations and had some errant throws but the defense was geared towards making life hard for Dak. I blame him the least.

……which is exactly why I said the PASS BLOCKING was elite…as in top 10. If you read my post I also said the their run blocking is abysmal. As for the penalties, it’s not just the offensive line. It’s systemic. The defensive line penalties against the Niners were among the most Boneheaded penalties I’ve ever seen.

oh crap, we dropped to 9. MOving on??? MOve on from Dak, that is all Moore needs. Playc alling means jack squat if a QB cant read a defense and CONSISTENTLY hit WRs.

The Pick against the Niners... was that because of the play call? Or did Dak throw the ball on the WRONG SIDE of the WR?

Moving on? If only we could move on from Dak. Shockingly, 3 out of the 4 remaining QBs are far more talented than Dak. I guess they are just fortunate to have "Great," Play callers. lol... sure they do. smh

however, pass blocking is where they held the most it takes away from elite and pouts them back at average overall grade

sorry but those mistakes cost us games..they sis they aren't elite because they hold and Daks running avoiding sack but throwing off target passes because hes again running away form the pass rush,

so they are either HOLDING, letting guys lose, and opening no holes

c is not elite against the best and against 4-man lines to boot..open your dang eyes..its a mirage like the rest of our offense when the bullies came to town we coughed up our lunch money and got those elite grades against the teams we take their lunch money.

except when Josh Allen or Mahomes gets that same pressure that Dak throws inaccurate passes, those two run for first downs, or throw for TDs. The Oline isnt the issue. Look at number 4... that is where the issue lies. How much was Mahomes scrambling around and out of the pocket last week? A ton...only he eats you up when he runs out of the pocket.
