Not good news about TO and Bledsoe

It's still very, very early in the process, but Drew Bledsoe and Terrell Owens aren't sharing any chemistry. After looking sharp for the first couple of days, Owens was sluggish Monday. He dropped a couple of balls. On one quick out, he may have heard the lumbering footsteps of Greg Ellis, who has suddenly turned into Dick "Night Train" Lane.

:bang2: I hope he doesn't explode.

Why don't they stay after and work on it.

I said it in the other thread - this same report came out last year with keysawn and drew. Drew may just be the kind of guy who take some time to grow into his receivers.

They will get ample time to work with each before we head into the 1st pre-season game. I don't see this as an issue at this time.

If it were late august i'd be worried....but I'd rather see what happens the rest of camp in the preseason games before I worry.

What I don't get is that because TO dropped a few balls, this signals the two lack chemistry?

I thought San Antonio's Don Harris made a good point on the radio yesterday. He said that TO appears to be concentrating so hard on running his routes and adjusting to where Drew wants him, that he isn't concentrating as much on catching the ball just yet. But, in Don's view, that will come.

And none of that, by the way, seems to indicate to me that the two "lack chemistry."

Good find.

It's not chemistry it's mechanics. I think when T.O. turns to catch the ball his hands are right above the grass and the ball is hitting him in the face. He just needs to adjust from McNabb passes to Bledsoe passes.

a lot of people seem to make rash judgements off 1 piece of info.

i wish they'd stop it.

Parcells hasn't said anything about this. It could be the end...:laugh2:

Does anyone know if Parecells was in favor of Drew throwing the ball
to TO or was it Jerry's idea;)

Yeah, everyone was making a big deal that Drew had to "learn to throw to Key even though he doesn't look open."

71 catches later I think he figured it out.

It's hard to know since BP is not talking about it, but I would bet BP is against throwing the ball to TO, will use him strictly as a decoy.

As I've said many times on this forum when we have a typical overreaction, there's a reason they call it..."PRACTICE".

prac·tice (prăk'tĭs)
v., -ticed, -tic·ing, -tic·es.

1.To do or perform habitually or customarily; make a habit of: practices courtesy in social situations.

2.To do or perform (something) repeatedly in order to acquire or polish a skill.

3.To give lessons or repeated instructions to; drill.

4.To work at, especially as a profession.
