Not good news about TO and Bledsoe

That may be the single most worthless write-up I have ever read..

It's not chemistry it's mechanics. I think when T.O. turns to catch the ball his hands are right above the grass and the ball is hitting him in the face. He just needs to adjust from McNabb passes to Bledsoe passes.

excellent!!

As I've said many times on this forum when we have a typical overreaction, there's a reason they call it..."PRACTICE".

prac·tice (prăk'tĭs)

1.To do or perform habitually or customarily; make a habit of: practices courtesy in social situations.

2.To do or perform (something) repeatedly in order to acquire or polish a skill.

4.To work at, especially as a profession.

Does anyone remember Aikman taking forever to get on the same page with receivers not named Irvin or Novacek?

TO apprently gave up on a Bledsoe pass and dropped ANOTHER one.

Early afternoon practice notes...

Quote:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
• T.O. gave up on one pass from Drew Bledsoe during 7-on-7 drills and dropped another one.

• Man spotted in an Eric Bjornson jersey in the VIP section.

• Defensive tackle Jay Ratliff beat his man to sack Bledsoe during team drills and then screamed in celebration.

• Todd Archer mentioned the Gauntlet in a post yesterday. Here's a picture of it from our own Irwin Thompson.

• Assistant head coach/running game coordinator/offensive line coach Tony Sparano raced into the pile to congratulate rookie offensive tackle Pat McQuistan during team drills.

• Safety Keith Davis picked off a Jeff Mroz pass during team drills and then flipped the ball to offensive tackle Dennis Roland.

• LB Ryan Fowler made a nice interception on a Tony Romo pass during team drills.

• This McQuistan guy is a bit of a surprise early in camp. He looks like he wouldn't be able to move, but he actually has decent range. You might recall that the Cowboys liked his brother, Paul, earlier in the draft.

• OK, now I have to go bang out a column. Then it's back to 24 an hour blogging.

What I don't get is that because TO dropped a few balls, this signals the two lack chemistry?

I thought San Antonio's Don Harris made a good point on the radio yesterday. He said that TO appears to be concentrating so hard on running his routes and adjusting to where Drew wants him, that he isn't concentrating as much on catching the ball just yet. But, in Don's view, that will come.

And none of that, by the way, seems to indicate to me that the two "lack chemistry."
Unfortunately that line of thinking doesn't fit into the agenda of some certain people.

Claiming there's a lack of chemistry between Bledsoe and TO doesn't make sense. The two in fact have reportedly set up perimeters how to deal with potential problems. For example, Bledsoe doesn't bleep at TO if TO doesn't come to him demanding to know why ball didn't come to him. Sounds to me like the like the two of them of taking time getting to know each other, etc. It also takes a while to develop rapport between QB & WR; it certainly took Aikman lot of time plus the WR needs to learn his routes & reads, etc. Give Bledsoe and TO time to get familiar with each other. Also Bledsoe still probably a little rusty since he doesn't throw the ball in the offseason to give his arm some rust. It's only 4 days into TC remember.

What're we talkin about? We talkin about PRACTICE! Not a GAME, not a GAME. We talkin about PRACTICE! PRACTICE!

Why don't they stay after and work on it.

I'd put about as much stock in this as i would a junk bond.

I understand why the press overreacts,to create drama and sell papers.Fans, I would figure would be smarter, know these guys are professional and give them atleast preseason. The national press is :( obviously very contagious.

I fully watched both practices. I saw TO drop 3 passes. 2 on sideline, 1 over middle, the one that Ellis was coming on.

Had nothing to do with chemistry. All passes hit TO. One in gut, 2 others in hand. One was real hard on sideline and Henry was in tight coverage and it was tough to see ball.

TO made some nice catches as well and take ball in stride with his hands away from body and then shows the after catch speed and strength.

I think the quote is silly and Bledsoe and TO seemed to be friendly out there. TO was a team guy in general.

Yeah, ONLY 4 days and TO already had his first temper tantrum. See the thread titled "and so it begins''

I'd be worried if it said they did have chemistry. That would just be kind of freakish. This early in training camp you can't really expect any sort of relationship to be in full swing yet.
