Not just Rob Ryan, Skip Peete is laughing

People forget he was the first or second scapegoat for the Cowboys inept performance. It's rather comical that the Bears running game just took total control of the Dallas defense in the second half and burned many a blitz by a simple screen pass. I remember all last year how the inability to run was supposedly Dallas Achilles heel on offense. This year, it's the same alleged lack of balance.

skip peete was lazy. ray sherman was too close to T.O/Crayton. decamillis has a grudge. rob ryan is sleeping thru meetings. etc...etc...

and that's not even half the people they've scapegoated over the years to protect this garrett/jones regime. it's sad so many in our fanbase eat it up too.

Uhmm, the Cowboys ran for 200 yards last night. ijs. I'd call it a draw if we're comparing run games. Even though Chicago's didn't really get going until the 2nd half when the defense was clearly out of gas.

And the point is, we would have run for 200 yards with Skip Peete against this porous Bear's run defense, and still sucked on offense. Murray also went all world against the Rams with Peete as coach.

Coach D doesn't have a grudge. Just fyi. He wanted to leave and they allowed him to go.

Peete wasn't let go because of lazyness. Allegedly he and JG had philosophical differences on some things, but never due to him being lazy.

Ryan wasn't fired for sleeping in meetings, and the Sherman stuff is just nonsense.

I hate to ruin a good rant, but spewing out wrongs, doesn't make it right.

What kinda point is that? I mean if the offense is garbage, then it's garbage. Nobody was lamenting Peete's firing. And the run game was fine last night, but of all of sudden, you want to hold him up as yet another thing that's wrong with the team? C'mon, khiladi, you can do better than that.

Not that I agreed with the Peete firing...but really. Have you seen this defense play this year? Especially the last month.

You could run on this defense, especially with Lee out, so the Bears doing it isn't exactly accomplishing much.

I think Chicago's 2nd half run success is almost all due to Brandon Marshall (6-4, 230) and Alshon Jeffery (6-3, 216). The Cowboys had to abandon playing the run because they could not stop these 2 players in the 1st half.

Pretending that every former Cowboy player and coach is great is ridiculous. I get that you're frustrated with our current regime, but that doesn't make DeCamillis (sp.), Peete, Bennett, Ratliff, etc. into some kind of world beaters. There is a lot of turnover in personnel and coaching in the NFL. Believe it or not, other teams go against players and coaches who used to be on their sideline. If you're pissed off about another loss, just say so. Loving the opposition doesn't solve crap.

I've said this for years. Every single person that goes out the door here can't just go because we wanted to make a change. It always has to be some character flaw they had that made them not only a bad fit, but bad people who were a bad influence on everyone else. Zordon detailed it very well.

I don't know exactly how these stories about these guys get started, but about the only assistant I can think of who was effectively fired who didn't suffer this was John Garrett. What a coincidence.

brad sham said decamillis had a grudge on the pregame yesterday. he used the word grudge. sherman stuff came directly from the espn dallas guys. garrett wanted full control of the locker room and a complete cleansing from that clique, players and coaches. i exaggerated about ryan but you get the point, as soon as he left the propaganda starting spreading thru the masses about him missing meetings, skip peete's philosophical differences were about work hours according to mike fisher.

I'm sure you didn't. You loved both while they were here and sad when they left.

Go back and search my posts. I have wanted the whole coaching staff gone at some times.. But, it has always been solid on Ol' Red getting out of here...

John Garrett moved on to greener pastures. He wanted to be a HC in college and tried out for interviews. It was just the fortune of the stars that made him end up in Tampa Bay as a WR coach.
