Sorry i know you guys hate these posts but this is just insane
If they do it by individual position, that'd surprise me.
Ex....Tyron is probably a top 5 LT.
Do they?
If it's top 5 overall, I could easily see how we wouldn't have one I there.
this board will have an epic mmeltdown when they release the top 5 RBs
They already did like 5 days ago.
Wow, didn't even register a blip here, gotta admit I'm surprised.
edit: even more surprised that no one got up in arms over Antonio Brown being the #1 WR and Dez being #2
I am more upset about Dez having an 89 speed.
I'm so out of touch with Madden, I don't even know if that is a big deal. Size, leaping ability and catch were the main factors on who was a good receiver and who wasn't the last time I played, and 89 speed, while not great, was still more than good enough. Now, I'm not sure

That's the biggest complaint I've ever had with Madden. The Raiders - in 11 or 12 maybe - were probably the best team on the game because all of their WRs and corners were 90+ speed, but, in reality, they sucked lolEhhh I think so. Flatline speed is my favorite statistic. Then again I play ALOT online. You can have a 4th string corner start at number 2 if they have enough speed to stick with the WR's.

Now, an 89 speed isn't slow, but it basically means you won't get big plays without breaking a tackle. That's pretty accurate for Dez but it makes it a lot more difficult to use him effectively. He'll still be able to outjump most any DB, but you have to be good on the sticks and user catches for that to matter, and most people who play Madden - especially those who complain about it - don't take the time to do that.
I don't know why everybody cares so much about lists. They are meaningless. Just win the SB. That's all that matters.

Agreed completely. Back when I used to be able to do this, I would stick Newman as my 2nd WR and have him on streaks the entire game because he had a 98 speed .
I think I am going to have to put Dez in the slot again this year, and have Cole as my 2nd WR doing slants until Dez's speed rating goes up.
We will see though. I am just grateful the passrush should get going online.
Some of those old Maddens when we had Quincy..
I'd run the heck out of it with Emmitt and playaction deep to Rocket and Galloway. Worked pretty good.
Animations have become a big part of sports games so Dez probably does a lot of crazy animations that get him the space he needs to burn the defense.
