Some of those old Maddens when we had Quincy..

I'd run the heck out of it with Emmitt and playaction deep to Rocket and Galloway. Worked pretty good.

I truly miss David Buehler on kickoffs. I caused so many fumbles by hit sticking their KR with the man

AKA: rocket catching. Still big part of the game, little harder to pull off on deep balls. Shameful in that NFL 2K didn't rely on animations (as minimal as possible) but instead a physics based collision system (similar to Backbreaker). RIP quality football video games

I've never really got good at rocket catching..

I used to play Madden hardcore.. Picked up Fifa and never really looked back.


Plus.. EA is known for being really noob friendly so if im going to get cheated in a game i'd rather get cheated in a game that lasts 15 minutes instead of playing Madden for 45 minutes and watching my defense drop 5 picks and my RB fumble over and over.

I had a friend that was almost unbeatable with the Ravens the year after they won the Superbowl. Madden made them ridiculously overpowered and the deal was if he lost with the Ravens he'd never pick them again.


Anyways.. I beat him with the 1 guy that I thought could overcome the Ravens BS.... Randy Moss..

All I did the entire game was handoff to Robert Smith and heave it as far as the game would let me to Moss.
