I've seen that commerical several times and not once did I even think of Lindsey Lohan. She is so irrelevant today its laughable. If it wasn't for her tmz type reports...people would forget she exists.

E-Trade convinces Lindsay to file this suit against them, which brings them all sorts of free publicity. At some point, they "settle" for a token amount which constitutes Lohan's compensation for participating in the publicity stunt.

Rumor was a while back that she was planning a similar scheme with a "stolen" sex tape. She'd film a sex scene with a guy, the tape would get leaked to a website run by some porn company, she'd "sue" for violation of privacy, and they'd settle with her which would amount to her compensation for participating in the whole sordid event. That way she doesn't have to stoop to engaging in porn, per se. But still gets some money that she desperately needs.
