This may be the dumbest post in this thread. YOU really think this is the reason people are busting on Dak? Because he's getting paid? NO! The reason people are busting on him is that his product on the field is nowhere near deserving of being the 3rd highest paid QB in the league and he held out to GET PAID. So now he has to face the music....he isn't anywhere near playing championship football and getting the money he is getting playing "bad in spots and good in spots" needs to be a hell of alot more of the latter and way less of the former.

I agree.. but I have noticed that even some who have been drinking the Dak-aid are starting to slowly see. For the first time in 7 years.. the media (other than Cowherd) are actually seeing him for what he is. I think the spotlight is (FINALLY) coming around to Dak and it won't be pretty.

The bigger issue is that we don't even have a decent back up option. Its not like we can swing back to a Jimmy G or a Baker Mayfield even.. our back up is Rush.. and I know that Rush won some games but I hope we can agree.. he is not good enough to take us to a SB. So we are really up the creek.

My only dream is they finally realise that Dak is a loser and either draft or recruit a proper QB so we can have a shot next year.

For the past 6 years, you stanleys have pointed to his stats as an indicator of how good he is. His detractors took these numbers with a grain of salt and argued Dak not passing the eye test.

Now you stans dont even have the stats to back him up anymore, so are you all ready to admit you were wrong the whole time or are you going to double, triple, ans quadruple down?

Dak is who is is at this point. He is not going to learn or get better. Moore needs to create plays that allow Dak to make quick decisions and get rid of the ball. But it still comes down the end of the regulation time. Run the ball on 3rd down a make Jacksonville burn their last time out. When McCarthy says he was trying to win the game he makes no sense. Making a 1st down wins the game. But burning their last time out also probably ends the game or makes it darn difficult for them to into FG range using only the sidelines.

But despite all that I just said, if the Cowboys tackle Engram in bounds on that 2nd down pass where he dragged Kearse for 10 yards, they win, even with the dumb bomb they threw on 3rd down instead of eating the clock. That was such a low percentage play why even bother?
