I don’t think anybody truly hates Rayne Dakota Prescotta…..they just hate his Inconsistency and newfound penchant for throwing picks…..nothing personal
You literally admitted not too long ago you don't like the guy personally lol. Now you backing out? Keep the same energy.

Dak is who is is at this point. He is not going to learn or get better. Moore needs to create plays that allow Dak to make quick decisions and get rid of the ball. But it still comes down the end of the regulation time. Run the ball on 3rd down a make Jacksonville burn their last time out. When McCarthy says he was trying to win the game he makes no sense. Making a 1st down wins the game. But burning their last time out also probably ends the game or makes it darn difficult for them to into FG range using only the sidelines.

But despite all that I just said, if the Cowboys tackle Engram in bounds on that 2nd down pass where he dragged Kearse for 10 yards, they win, even with the dumb bomb they threw on 3rd down instead of eating the clock. That was such a low percentage play why even bother?

he’s only in year 7…..he hasn’t even hit his full potential yet.

Huh? That’s completely false. Search my content and find that one. You have me mixed up with somebody else.

Can I still keep up that energy?

Ahh maybe I do. Could've sworn it was you. Maybe it was ACR. Could've sworn it was you that straight up said you'd never like him regardless of play lol.

Yeah, it's definitely the worst year since his rookie year. I don't understand how he's accurate for nine out of ten passes and then just completely botches throws like that one to Schultz earlier. Horrible throw at a crucial part of the game.

The last INT was fully on Brown, though.

QBR rules to live by:

1. If Dak has a high QBR, it's a meaningless stat based off some weird ESPN formula that doesn't mean a thing.
2. If Dak has a low QBR, it's proof he's worse than Marcus Mariota and needs to be a third stringer in the XFL.

Salary is really about when you got paid. There aren’t really a lot of elite QBs in the NFL so even decent young QBs are gonna get paid big.

I was thinking earlier today before the Jags game, who are the best young QBs you would build around today? I think the answer is easily Mahomes, Burrow, Herbert, Allen and Lawrence.

The only one in that group not on a rookie contract is Mahomes, and he’s the highest paid in the game.

Then you move onto the next tier of QBs, and you’re looking at Jackson, Tua, Watson, and hard to deny Hurts after this year.

And if you look at the best teams in the league, they’re all led by young QBs.

The last of the old guard look finished. Brady is the only one who might creep into the playoffs.

Dak isn’t that great, but who else in the NFC is really that special? The QBs are in the AFC now. The best NFC teams have elite defenses.

you are straight up suffering from Dak derangement syndrome…..you actually want people to dislike him on a personal level so it absolves him from his play.

Let me know when Dakota has gotten into trouble off the field or assaulted someone and than we can start talking about disliking him personally……so far there’s been not a single reason.

and as to his contract burden…..that’s Jerry’s fault not Daks so I don’t even hold that against him either

I also have posted today that not only was that last interception not Daks fault , I also posted that he and the offense scored enough points to win……you can look that up very easily. It was posted today

Mods if you don't mind put this crap into the merged Dak thread. Thanks in advance. The rest of us don't want to read this dumb crap all day.

He listed several statistics evaluating Dak's performance this season compared to his peers. The Dak Sucks thread is just a bunch of guys venting.

No one is forcing you to read any thread.

If Dak has a high QBR, hes top-10 and the haters dont know what they are talking about

If Dak has a low QBR…

Lol wut?

So we should be satisfied with a mediocre guy because most of the good QBs play in the AFC?

Did the rules committee make it so that two NFC teams can face off in the Super Bowl??

Its sad bro

We all know that the two clowns that run this organization are the biggest problems with this franchise, but I truly believe if we had an actual difference maker at QB, we would be the favorites to win it all

We are in year 7 of this crap, and sadly some can not see him for who he is

Make no mistake, they see it..

They just steadfastly refuse to admit it because they are emotionally invested. Nothing more complicated than that.

Whatever went wrong today, he's totally absolved of any and all blame. It's the Davidian way

I think the thing that frustrates is that some of us were trying to talk about ranking Dak accurately before he got paid.

Dak sits around 10th-14th best QB in the league for mine.. and that hasn't really changed. he is not woeful.. despite what I might feel at times.. he isn't a basket case. The issue is that he is not elite.. so you either need a highly paid but ELITE QB or you need a rookie 'average/above average' QB. You can't have a highly paid and average QB.. it just doesn't work.

So the only guys that I believe should be getting that elite money are guys that have actually shown their worth.. like Mahomes, Allen, Burrow, Herbert, Brady, Rodgers.. with Brady and Rodgers holding the 'age caveat'.

I also think you would look at Jackson and Watson (previous to off field issues) and could make a case of big contracts..

The hard guys are QBs like Dak and Cousins.. guys that are solid, will get you plenty of wins (yes Kirk wins plenty) but they aren't "the guy".. So what do you pay them? And that is where I think we blinked first.. I would have tagged Dak again.. given him a season to show it.. and if he didn't then moved him on. I think they overestimated him greatly and we are now straddled with an impossible contract.

We won't be the last team to overpay an average QB.. but I think teams are getting smarter. We are seeing Rookies get more time at QB than ever before and teams are not afraid to turn through guys.. particularly the newer breed of rushing QBs.. teams are seeing they can get 3-4 good years out of them and then move on. Teams are being far more selective around who they give those big QB dollars too.. I think Jimmy G saw that.. and Brady/Rodgers have seen that.. The Wilson debacle at Broncos has also shown the lead that QB trading can be messy. I think we will see far few big contracts given to mediocre QBs in the future. I think teams will be far more willing to invest in other areas and 'wait' for their QB to find them.

Who cares? They couldn’t win with this clown GM and his dopey son for 20 years before Dak, and won’t win 20 years after Dak is gone.
