Not at all. I root for all the Cowboys and and am a fan of all of them bc they’re my team. I could care less who the QB is.

I just find it very odd when fans make claims on certain players that aren’t true. Other positions included. I’m not a Dak homer Im just a realist. If I see someone makings inaccurate claims about Dak or others I call it out.

You on the other hand brought up a “heroic”comeback win by Herbert and made it sound like Dak is incapable of that. In reality Herbert’s overall line was below average. If it was Dak, I’m sure you’d say “well he sucked the whole game and had 2 picks so shouldn’t have needed a comeback.” That’s reasoning by emotion.

Dak never has and never could make the throws Herbert does. He doesn’t have that talent. I think almost all would agree and it’s a pretty realist point of view. You take a poll of 32 GMS I’m willing to bet all 32 take Herbert over Dak. And he’s in year 3. Imagine him in year seven. And once you are saying things I never said. I never said he was heroic. I said he made an exceptional play and has exceptional talent and lifts his team. Dak doesn’t. It is what it is. So I’ll ask again would you take Dak over any of those QBs? You say you care about the Cowboys and not who the QB is.

We've lost 4 games this season. 3 against teams with losing records, 1 against teams with a winning record.

Guess which 3 are Daks?

For the past 6 seasons, the Dak supporters flaunted his numbers as a barometer of the level of QB he is.

And before anyone says im nitpicking one stat, he ranks 19th in EPA, 14th in traditional passer rating, 32nd in Int%, 18th in air yards per attempt, and his Qbr is lower than Cooper Rush’s

Herbert is a great young QB. And again - blue chip Herbert has 0 playoff wins. You said great QBs elevate their teams so what’s happening over there? Their OL has a better pass pro win rate, they have one of the best RBs in foot all and a 1/2 punch at WR that’s better than ours. not sure about their defense but they just won’t a game scoring 17 so that’s nice. But Dak only wins 3 games there. That’s your emotional take towards Dak. Not rational.

How is Rodgers better this year? Dak has a higher EPA / play, CPOE, Completion Percentage, Air Yards / Attempt and QBR.

I think 9-12 is fair. I’d lean closer to 9 but we’re talking about 3 spots. I also think a QB in that range is plenty good to win a super bowl with a strong team.

Where’d I’d disagree is the “anyone could win with our roster” notion. I think our current roster is overrated and not sure why some folks think we’re world beaters. It’s good, not great.
