Remember that Commanders game last year when Romo started limping really badly and we all thought he had a leg injury? It turned out to be his back so clearly his legs were affected by the injury. It's not that far-fetched that he still has leg issues after the surgery.

Right.

Just look at how a disc prolapse (which he had) will have effects on your legs. Sometimes that hard that you cant move your legs anymore. During the injury its the nerves. Afterwards its the muscels around the torso that have to be trained again.

He clearly moves bad. And when he starts sprinting you can see that there is no power coming out of his torso. When you are sprinting the most important muscles are those of your torso. They are used to keep your body upright. If they are weak your body tension will break down. With that your legs cant carry you anymore.

Its not his legs that have problems (or maybe they have too but its not the main issue). Its his torso. When he is trying to run his torso bends. Thats a sign for bad body tension and its never good and especially not for an pro athlete.

Fair point. I still think something is better than nothing. Explosive exercises and HIIT would help him lose weight. Do you agree that he needs to get back in the 220s?

I"m not Tony Romo but I started HIT about a year ago and it's been the most eye opening workout experience I have ever had and I'm up there in age. Now I look around at the minions on treadmills running for 30 minutes straight, knowing that their body is not responding and I just shake my head.

I hope Romo is doing it and if he's not he should be for both endurance and explosiveness.

Or....his mechanics are off because of a degenerative back condition. Short balls fly over people, medium passes hit people in the feet, long passes flutter and fall short. If he's going to have any shot at all, get him a damn QB coach.

I've always wondered why Wilson doesn't come under more fire.
