No argument here at all. What is so amusing about the backlash is that everyone trashes the HC and the fact the Cowboys can't beat the winning teams and when that shows itself again, they get up in arms….all over again......and again.
Were they expecting a HC that they have no respect for to all of the sudden step up and prove them wrong against that HC in his own lair and conditions he'd hoped for? That was Belichick's perfect storm and the reason they usually go to the Big Dance when they have homefield.
I predicted the Cowboys would win but I didn't anticipate the weather being like that. I thought a little rain but that was different.
I understand your point, it does get repetitive and old. I think part of that is because we still are mathematically in the playoffs and have a shot, you would like to believe we have as good a chance as anyone else when the games are played.
I'll be the first to admit I dont care for Garrett, I think hes had plenty of time to show what he is and this is what we are under him, however, when the games are played I still hope for the best and am rooting for this team the whole way through. When they ultimately fall like yesterday? I'm pissed/frustrated about them losing and want Garrett gone yesterday, but I know we are tied to him until further notice.
I support the team regardless, I feel the same as the people who want Garrett gone but I also know there's no bother to post that I want him fired when most feel the same way already.
I respect your stance as well that, in fewer words, is like yea this is what we have, this is what we should expect and it is what it is for now. No need in beating a dead horse.
I think we have people who on the other side or the argument still believe in him and want him here and while I dont agree with that at all, I wont go out of my way to start a repetitive argument about why they are crazy for wanting him or thinking change isnt the answer.
Your point is valid in it all and I can see your stance working fine If everyone accepted the fact that Garrett is ours until the end of the season and we should just deal with it until then because we cant change it.
Bottom line is these next few weeks will be much like the earlier part of the year. Ups and downs, kind of hanging around in every game and we will win some but probably lose one or two more. We can win any game but as we have seen we can lose to lesser teams like the Jets too. Its gonna be all kinds of craziness around here until the season ends and a final decision is made on Garrett.
Then? Well then we will probably continue to argue who is hired and what we like and dont like which will bring on some good debates and some petty arguments as well.
Life as a Cowboy fan is all I can.
