Notre Dame sucks, pure and simple. You'll never see me denying that and I don't give a crap one way or another. They'll probably stumble to 6-5 this season based on their ridiculously easy schedule, but they would be 3-8 (at best) if they actually had to play talented teams.

And none of that has anything to do with the fact that Michigan is college football's biggest overhyped machine of a program that has no championships in the past half century. They think they're the big men on campus, when fact is they've won one-half of one national championship in that timeframe.

I guess if you can find a 60+ year old that follows college football, he can tell you what things were like when Michigan won championships. But it sure ain't happened in my lifetime.

I agree. To go along with that Bo Schembechler is the most over rated coach in history. He is a good coach. I would never say he was a bad coach, but he was not as good as he is made out to be. He doesn't live up to the hype. The way people talk about him you would think he won multiple national championships. He did not win any. He had a 5-12(2-8 in the Rose Bowl) bowl record.

I thought it was an entertaining game, but I don't have either team being a player in the national championship this season. Didn't think so before the game and my mind was not changed after watching it.

Oh, it was a spectacular game to watch..!! But it was like watching Div I-AA (or, I should say, the FCS). It's was a great game but if either school wants to go to the BCS, they better start saving up for tickets :D

I have finally given up on him. I can imagine what BP would have to say:

Up by 3 on the road; 2 minutes to go; and you PASS???????

Could not figure that out.

If he runs more clock he probably wins the game. :choke:

ND = :thumbdo:

Except how many times have we seen teams be too conservative and do nothing but run the ball 3 times and take maybe 15 seconds off the clock? It's 2nd and 10, there's two and a half minutes to go and Michigan has 2 timeouts left. If you run the ball twice, you're essentially surrendering the ball without a fight and running maybe 10 more seconds off the clock.

Notre Dame lost because they suck, not because they were aggressive with their late game playcalling. The playcalling was actually the one thing about Notre Dame's game that day which I respected.
