Yes I see the same exact thing as you do. Not having Desean Jackson with the Eagles is a big deal for their offense and they don't have anyone to stretch the field. I'm a little worried about their TEs but I sure by then we'll have Carter back and would be able to man the middle against their TEs. We really missed Carter against the Giants and thats why I believe he makes a difference in the lineup defending those passes in the middle.
As for their defense their wide 9 will get exposed against the run. They have to go against some physical run oriented teams such as the Texans, Cardinals and the Seahawks and us both times which doesn't seem to favor their defense. So I think my assessment is fairly reasonable that they will start to slide starting with the Cards.
Sure its too early to count those two games against them as wins. But the odds of us winning both games is pretty good if we just run the ball and do what we do best.
The Eagles are a 3-4 defense - they haven't run a wide 9 through a four man front since Andy Reid left.
