It may have only been Houston, but that has to be the worst I have ever seen us play in a blowout.
Well, the running game was good throughout. The defense played very solid outside of that first drive (and they even got a nice stop inside the redzone there). What does that leave? Oh yeah, the QB.

I couldn't believe the crap I was reading in chat at halftime. I had to leave cuz I was about to blow up at the complete stupidity I was reading.

Hopefully those ignorant ones will shut their mouths for at least a day or two.

i thought it was pretty fun in there today:cool:

How is Giants pass defence?
McBriar looked great, but as happy as I am, i have to go with the "It's just Houston" and that takes away a bit of the happiness.

Giants are gonna blitz dallas relentlessly and if the lose, we're gonna have he same arguments about Romo/Bledsoe again next week. I still think Parcells should have played Romo a few series early in the game when it mattered

And at the risk of being a total Pollyanna--I think we might imitate what the Skins did last year. Slow start at the beginning of the season, then coming on strong.

The wild card, sadly, is TO. He'll be happy as a lark this week 'cause he got 3 TDs. But the team is going to have to walk on eggshells to keep him happy this season--& that makes it difficult for a team to really gel.
I'll take a few Pollyanna's in here to help balance out the scores of Jeremiahs.

No...there will be people who are just not happy with a win.

And the QB played well. It may have looked ugly to you and the other Romers but he made no turnovers, no big mistakes, hit on over 60% of his passes, had two TDs. He drove the bus well. BP is probably paying homage to his skills as we speak...

KM, call me naive, but I think he really IS trying to change.

That Philly game last week was just too emotional a loss for him. And that is entirely understandable. I think he'll be able to handle other losses much more equitably.

It wasn't his head worrying me as much as his legs...and today he played with power and stamina. He's getting into 'game shape' finally, so the worry some of us have had that he has lost a step may hopefully be a red herring.

He had to have regained a lot of confidence today - in Bledsoe, in his own role on the team, and in his own physical abilities.

That is going to be BIG down the road for us.

Now excuse me please.

I've got an hour or so of laughing to do at Extremeskins. :laugh2:

Guess you know TO is TO now ;)

The win was ok, but it was better that the eagles and skins lost.

We are dealing with a team that has the 32nd D in total yards given up and an offense that is 27th in total yards. They also give up the second most sacks per game in the league, and we had 0 sacks.

I'm happy right now, but still concerned about the future.

Don't forget that he took two drive killing unnecessary sacks (sacks that most QBs would not have taken) and missed several wide open receivers, including Witten in the end zone. TO bought him a week of good graces from some fans, but others aren't so easily fooled.
