I told you guys a long time ago that jerry has no idea what he is doing...alot of you didnt believe me including hostile...now you see what i am talking about right? the guy has no clue how to be a GM....a good owner but a bad GM!
Last I saw, it was not Jerry not making a tackle against the Ravens. It was not Jerry throwing a late 4th qtr int for TD against Pitt.
When we changed QBs it was BP that wanted Romo. All the fans wanted to trade for another Wr opposite TO( Boldin, Ocho Cinco, or Roy Williams). All the fans wanted for him to pay all the FA Bill had drafted( Newman, Ratliff, Barber) and give Romo his contract. He made a trade that gave us 2 #1's in last years draft and also pass on Brady Quinn because the fans were in awe of Romo. The fans wanted a hard nose coach, inter BP no wins( we had no leaks, no marketing ala hard knocks) yet no playoff wins.
It has been well chronicled that Aikman did not approve of Jimmy and also Charles Haley did not care for Jimmy's ways. Yet they put that aside and won football games.
The problem is we are not as good as the media portrays. 13 pro bowlers was a joke. The team is not filled with blue chippers it has alot of over achievers ( Romo, Barber, Ratliff, Crayton, Hurd, Miles, TO).
Aikman, Irvin, and Smith could have gone to any team( together) in the 90's and instantly make them contenders and Stabach, Dorsett, and Randy White could do the same.
We don't have that kind of player. TO is a product of a pass happy league and has always played for pass first teams.
The problem with Jerry is that he trys to please the fans to much. Like the saying goes when a coach does what the fans want pretty soon he will be sitting with them watching the game.
