Who here has been saying Jerry is a good GM is what I want to know.

In terms of the talent he has brought in for the last few years hes been one heck of a GM. Hiring coaches? Thats another story but in his defense 2006 wasnt exactly the best talent pool to pick from.

1. Acquire talent .... he has done a great job of that in recent years.
2. Manage the Cap ..... he has done a great job of that in recent years.
3. Hire a coaching staff ..... he has not done that well ..... but everyone thought Parcells would save us and he had one of the worst records as a coach with us.


Jerry needs to hire a good coaching staff ..... its really that simple.

I think that is the thing that really puts enough torque in my shorts to really chafe. I honestly expected Parcells to be here 6 years and win 2 more Super Bowls with us. I felt that way when he was coming in and taking over a horrible team from Dave Campo, and I felt that way right up until he quit. 2006 and 2007 really gall me because I think of what could have been.

Were you captain of your NCAA Championship team? Were you laughed at because you brought in an unproven coach but eventually went on to win 3 Super Bowls? Do you have access to some of the best scouts in the NFL? Were you the person that bought the Cowboys for 150 million and now they are worth over 1 billion? Or are you just someone that thinks they KNOW football and are just a jerry hater? Cuts both ways.

Its obvious that most don't think that jerry is the problem because they keep supporting so why shopuld he change. He has all the fans hoodwinked when really every decision every reason for aplayer doing something that divides come solely fomm him because he won't stop it. He is the ultimate salesmen. He has all of us following a team that has the worst gm and coach and the whole time he hides the truth and sells us up on why the future will be different but it never is!

I told you guys a long time ago that jerry has no idea what he is doing...alot of you didnt believe me including hostile...now you see what i am talking about right? the guy has no clue how to be a GM....a good owner but a bad GM!

I like Jerra. With one exception: The Clown Wade Phillips.

Other than that, Jerra remains a proactive, aggressive coach who lives and breathes the team.

Wade is an all-time blunder for Jerra, but overall, I like his record. He wears three Super Bowl rings and few others do.

He must have done something right in his years.

Ditto again, Jerry should be held accountable for not making better coaching staff acquisitions. Parcells was a logical hire but he fell short as a head coach. Apparently even he realizes that as he is not a head coach anywhere else but in an executive position with the Dolphins. Once we have a good staff in place and generate some continuity we will be back on track.
