You've got it all wrong, eh, LarryCanadian.
Roy Williams and Ellis are good players. Yet one turns in a sub-average year and the other whines.
And the rest of the crew sleep walks through its last four or so games.
Jimma Johnson, Tom Landry and all the other great coaches would not have let ANY distractions into the lockerroom. Those coaches would not have shrugged off uninspired play going into the playoffs.
Those coaches would have ripped a new ear into anybody who strayed or played like sleepwalkers.
When all is said and done, Wade stands alone in the blame game.
Wade let it slip through his hands, not wanting to believe that his fabulous start would end in a crushing defeat AT HOME to a team he had already beaten TWICE. Wade did not want to believe that his fabulous team would peak too early and just go through the motions.
Crayton was a prime example. Half-hearted play.
Jimma would have sat the whiners down and yelled at the underachievers and willed these magnificent playes to excel.
Oh, and then there is Stewart. Oh, god, let the Garrett/Capers era begin now and not when Wade goes 0-5 in the playoffs.
