He's a backup. He has no real career to speak of. Even after his run he had a few years ago, he got zero offers. And this is in a league full of desperate front offices to find QBs. Any coach knows watching the tape, knows he's bad. Very bad. He's not a backup by accident. He's one because he sucks.

It's over. The pipe dream of the backup coming in and sparking the team never had a chance.
